Chasing my cat around the house for funsies as usual, she slows down so I can give her bongos and takes off again. We race out to the living room and I've got her almost cornered. My genius cat jumps on the treadmill and runs for her life.. as i stand there smiling. Took her a few seconds to realise she was going nowhere. She keeps trotting and gives me that cat side eye we all know and love. Made my morning lol
Chonky, my fluffy cat friend, jumped on my bed and observed my little Chinese takeaway container full of stickers. She playfully dug them all out, she looking very pleased with herself. I had a little chuckle and put the stickers back. Unimpressed, she dug them all out again and tried to sit in the container, of course, only her two front paws would fit in such a small container. She seemed so sure of her actions, it occurred to me that she wanted her own bed, on my bed. The 7 or 8 beds she has around the house just didn't cut it. So I emptied a basket i had full of fabric and sewing supplies. She patiently watched as I rummaged around for "blankets" to line the basket. 2 fluffy tea towels fit almost perfectly. Pleased with my work, she immediately nestled herself into her newest bed. It is now her favourite bed.
How are you finding rates and insurance? Im looking to buy up there but rates and insurance is forever, even after paying off the mortgage. Do you think your rates are being well spent in the community? Would you have rather purchased somewhere non cyclone prone and paid off the mortgage quicker?
I'm from Brisbane, genuinely miserable in the cold and can't keep having 3 depressed months every winter. I love the heat, can handle the hot wet aspect of the tropics and i love the idea of being close to the Daintree. Im a hospitality veteran and won't have trouble getting work, would I be crazy to pack up and just start fresh in Cairns? What am I not considering?
I know your supposed to pull over to the left and indicate, but what about when you car is in a weird spot? I was almost in a roundabout, about to go straight, but stopped just short to let an ambo pass. He was turning left, (he passing on the right) would hazards have been better so they knew I was actually stopping and knew i wasn't going to continue left? What's the official etiquette?
