I am getting married in less than 2 months and my venue ( that has been booked for over a year) has just started to add fees and costs and generally change things last minute.

Most upsetting the original reception location is now not available, there is a catering fee that wasn't included ( $8,300!!!), and a venue use fee that they didn't see listed either.

My feeling is that I am willing to move the reception outdoors but I can't and won't continue to let them add extra costs because the contract wasn't written well by them.

I have the original invoice and contract but I'm now seeing that the original consultant didn't sign the contract so I'm probably out of luck there.

The original invoice I was quoted on did not include catering but that wasn't discussed to be an extra fee ( let alone more than the whole venue)

Do I have any recourse or should I cancel and kiss the deposit goodbye

I'm 2 months away and my venue is trying to change everything. It started with the location of the reception ( no longer available despite a signed contract).

Now they are saying there is a venue fee that wasn't added to the initial invoice.

And now the catering wasn't added properly. So that's an extra $8300 that I don't have

The original point of contact person doesn't work there anymore and all of this feels so illegal.

I am this close to canceling the whole thing and forfeiting the deposit

I am bad right now. Super impulsive and irritable. Bad combo. Long story but my body wasn't absorbing any of the lithium er pills ( recent levels was <0.2 despite near perfect compliance ( I think I missed one day over the last 2 weeks)) so my psych is trying lithium ir twice a day instead. If I absorb it how long until I can expect to be less batshit?

Hi so I tried to send this dream to my friend and then realized that I sounded insane to send this at 3 am

So background we are labor nurses and have joked that we are the same person or sometimes share the same braincell because we think very similarly. She's only a year younger than me but I see her as a little sister or someone to guide and protect

We were in 227 and you were trying to start an IV on your patient except we weren't labor nurses cuz the lady was just this old wrinkly fat lady who looked like the witch of the waste from howls moving castle (pic for context)

So I'm on her left holding her hand chattering away as a distraction and she says her name is also scout. So I'm talking on and on about how cool it is and how I love the name blah blah blah. You stick her right arm and get flashback then all of a sudden the patient pulls away from me, her eyes go black and hollow and she goes to try and grab you or hurt you. The dream ends with me screaming scout stop!

I have celiac disease and I maintain the diet to keep healthy but I have vomiting and diarrhea most days. I also have bp2 on 3 medications all by mouth. My lithium levels are always sub therapeutic despite strict medication compliance.

I asked my psych for the long acting shot but he didn't seem keen. How else am I supposed to be stable if I can't make the meds stay in
