Nazuna Tsubaki St vs Nazuna Gosho

Planning a romantic trip to Japan in January 2027. Staying 4 nights in Kyoto. I’m debating Nazuna Tsubaki St vs Nazuna Gosho. From my research, it appears that the Gosho location is better and more central but the open air bathtub is very appealing to me.

Has anyone been to either and have any perspective on which may be better? Thanks!

4 days in Paris- May 2026

Spent 4 nights in Paris to kick off our honeymoon.

Background: My husband had been to Paris before and I had not. We are huge foodies and wanted to go to experience it but also didn’t want to pack a lot in. I know it’s not for everyone but it worked for us.

Day 1: We landed at CDG around 8 am. Took cash out and met our private driver. Arrived at Relais Christine and headed out to explore. Stopped at Cafe de Flore (touristy I know) for a quick bite and then walked around some more. We had lunch at a random ramen spot (Kare) in St. Germain and it was ok! Did the Eiffel Tower and then had lunch at Freddy’s Wine Bar which was incredible, headed to Bubbles Bliss for a champagne tasting which was amazing. My husband at this point was hungry again so we went to Kanpai sushi near Luxembourg gardens and it was fabulous!

Day 2: We slept in and then headed out to explore St. Germain. We went to Universelle Bully as I wanted to get some souvenirs and also hit up the pharmacy. We ended up in Le Marais and at lunch at Au Bourguignon du Marais. The food was good but portions were huge. Headed to Bon Marche to shop and then headed to the Seine for a river tour with champagne tasting. It was great! Ended the night at Chez Fernand Christine which was absolutely delicious. We stayed until close and even got a free digestive from our server.

Day 3: Slept in probably way too late. Headed straight to Kodawari Ramen, which was amazing. The ambience is so cool as well. We then headed to Notre Dame which was stunning. We did some more shopping and headed to Brasserie Lipp for lunch, it wasn’t our favorite but it was ok. We relaxed in the hotel until we went to dinner at Hakuba. Probably the best meal of our lives it was amazing.

Day 4: Trip to the louvre, we just toured ourselves and then walked around some more in the area. Went to Brasserie Des Pres for lunch which was touristy but good. Relaxed and then had a leisurely bottle of wine and oysters at Opium La Cabane and finished the trip off with a visit to Le Christine.

Since it was my first time in Paris and we were exhausted from our wedding we primarily enjoyed St. Germain but I’m already looking forward to going back and exploring other neighborhoods!

Hotel review- Grand Hotel Tritone

Just returned from our honeymoon for a week at Grand Hotel Tritone. I cannot say enough amazing things about this hotel! It was gorgeous, the views were insane, the service was out of this world and the food was absolutely incredible.

We ended up cancelling a few dinners and activities to relax at the hotels beach club and eat at their restaurants. We ate at all of the restaurants on the property and they were excellent. Having a beach club on property in the Amalfi coast is priceless.

I know a lot of people said a week is too long for Praiano but I disagree. We did the Path of Gods, boat day to Capri, Cooking class in Positano and spent the rest of the days relaxing and I didn’t want to leave.

Wedding-Success story

Not sure if this is allowed. About a month leading up to my wedding I got hit with an intense amount of ROCD. It was almost debilitating. I truly felt like I couldn’t open up to anyone, I did share a little with my partner. It got to the point that I wasn’t even excited for our incredibly expensive honeymoon we had planned and dreamed about and I was racked with nerves. While everything wasn’t perfect and I still had intrusive thoughts, the day was absolutely incredible. I did have a little panic attack on the way to the honeymoon but most of that was hangover and anxiety about leaving for so long. We had the most incredible trip and while sure I had some intrusive thoughts it did not define my wedding or my trip like I was so concerned about.

I tear up looking at any wedding or honeymoon pictures and just truly feel so so grateful. We’re already planning another trip in the next 6 months and while I wouldn’t necessarily say I am at 100% I just wanted to share that it is possible. I remember there being days that the anxiety was so intense and the thoughts were so horrible I felt like I couldn’t bear them.

I’ll end by saying the biggest thing that helped me personally is reminding myself I’d get through it, thinking about the last 3ish years of memories with my parents and remembering my values and what aligned with my life and that always came back to my partner.
