Started HousingPal (housingpal.in) about 8 weeks ago — a direct owner-to-tenant rental marketplace for Hyderabad with zero brokerage on either side.

A few things that surprised me:

Organic search traction came faster than expected. Ranking for some Hyderabad rental keywords already without any paid ads.

The hardest problem isn't tech — it's the chicken-and-egg listing problem. Tenants want listings, owners want tenant traffic.

NoBroker solved this at scale with VC money. Doing it as a bootstrapped solo founder is a very different game.
