Question about seagulls

I just had a random thought- in the past- let’s say the 18th century when there was a huge class divide and people were living in extreme poverty unable to buy food is there a chance these people would have just survived by catching seagulls and eating them?

It would make sense a there is such an abundance of them everywhere constantly and they are all pretty tame to the point they would be easy to catch- I’ve tried googling it but nothing comes up

I don’t understand the main premise of the show

I consider myself pretty in tune with history, but I’ve always been super confused by the entire main plot point of the show

Patrick dies on the titanic so a new heir needs to be found-

Sure but what’s the massive rush? Lord Grantham wasn’t terminally ill or super old- he was middle aged.

Also- why did Mathew and Isabel move there? I just don’t understand it- what would have happened if lord Grantham lived for another 30 years? Matthew would have spent most of his life just hanging around Downton abbey waiting to inherit it.

And it gets even more confusing when Matthew lists Mary as his sole heiress even though he has a son whom would have been of age when lord Grantham died-

Someone please explain this set up

Straight porn in a gay sauna?

Went to a gay sauna today- men only- and I was shocked at how much straight porn was playing.

There was so many little rooms with screens playing straight porn and even the glory holes had screens playing straight porn - of course some dudes are bj but surely in that setting gay porn should suffice either way

Why does Bristol have such a chronic drug problem?

As someone bag lives in Bristol but travels a lot I am at a loss to why Bristol stands out for having such a rampant drug problem.

In the past 2 months I’ve stayed in 4 major European cities and stayed in or close to the central areas and what really shocks me is just normalized the drug problem in Bristol is. I know this is such a sensitive topic so I don’t want this to turn into some sort of us vs them issue but I’m genuinely curious to why Bristol is just so bad for it.

I’ve currently been in Sweden for a week and I have not been approached once- and I’m in one the biggest cities.

Poland- I was there for 4 days. Again, not a single instance.

Rome- saw beggars by the tourist attractions but they never approached me.

Compare this to Bristol, last week I left my house to go to the gym- simple 6 min walk, I got accosted 5 times. 2 of which swore at me.

Now, this isn’t about homelessness- this is drugs. And though some may turn to drugs after becoming homeless, 9 times out of 10 it’s the other way round.

But why is Bristol so bad for it? What are all these other cities in Europe doing that Bristol city council isn’t? I wouldn’t honestly go as far to say Bristol is worst than London.

It’s either the council are ignoring it or just simply out of their depth.

Edit: I’m starting to understand this is a nationwide issue- so if that is the case- why does the uk have such a huge drug issue compared to other countries?

Why are so many gay saunas turning inclusive?

Why can’t we dudes be allowed a space for just us? Is there something wrong with that? Inclusivity is all well and good but there is such thing as positive discrimination. Minorities and marginalized groups have all right to have spaces dedicated to them- making it for everyone defeats the point in my opinion.

What I find ironic is gay men are always demonized for being obsessed with masculinity yet those same people seem super keen to be included in our spaces. Makes zero sense to me

Faghag allergy

As I’ve got older I’ve found myself extremely adverse to girls that are obsessed with gay men.

The over enthusiasm and over familiarity creeps me the fuck out especially when I’ve just met them.

Also I find it rude and offensive how they feel entitled to know the details of my sex life- they can be unhinged with it.

No I don’t want you to set me up with your random mate, no I don’t want talk about sex, we’ve just met, and no, I’m not going to give you style advice.
