Leather feels amazing
Just broke it in. First glove I've had that still wants a two hinge break-in, but feels better as a regular (not TIP/finger shift).
Will post video of break in below
Shout out to wilsonball_glover for helping on acquisition!
My finger is hovering over the buy button, but it's out of curiosity more than a need. I have a Wilson Staff D5 a Mizuno Haga both with similar dimensions that would likely eclipse this, but I'm curious what anyone's thoughts are especially if you have a rawlings Japan edition.
Finally made it to 5 bands on the ProVelocity bat after ~4 weeks of being stuck at 4.
I know this is more of a "baseball swing", but I'm attempting to maximize bat speed and rotational power for the moment until moving on to a more upright cut swing.
One thing I notice is my rear arm elbow is staying low in the load (unlike most high-level swings I see), but I'm finally starting to like the way my trunk and hips are behaving.
(I included a front facing view of a separate swing this same session as well.)
Here are previous videos in historical order oldest to newest:
I know something is off with my swing, but not 100% sure what to focus on. When I watch this video my hip rotation seems so slow compared to the effort I'm putting in to rotate them. If anyone has cues for getting faster hip snap and rotation I'm all ears. I've been trying to crack 75mph bat speed to no avail for a while now.
Struggling to get 5 bands to double click on a Provelocity bat. I feel like my hands are jumping past my torso during the swing. Any cues or advice for fixing that or anything else you see?
I'm searching for a stitched lace (yellow on brown) similar to below. It came on a Junkei glove I have.
I'd love to put it in an all black A2000 I have. Does anyone know where you can get these?

I'm already seeing some improvement by adjusting things since posting a couple days ago. Ingested a lot more off of YouTube, and got highest bat speed yet today (~65mph). I'm hoping to get 70mph by July (before rec league starts), but I've jumped ~5mph just adjusting a few things. Even in this video I think I can both coil more and rotate my hips through even more and squeeze out some additional power. I made contact just a little late in the wrist snap too.
What I've tweaked so far
* focusing on keeping my front shoulder back initiating launch & exploding my hips (helped with sequencing a lot)
* bottom hand pinky off and 2-finger overlap grip

When people say these are built like tanks, they are 100% accurate. Probably the stiffest glove I've worked on yet. I'm about 70% done with break-in, but I'm really liking how it's turning out. Pocket is forming nicely. I love their stitched lacing and love the look of the brown on black.
I feel like I'm exploding my hips as best I can, but I can't get bat speed up still. I realize this is not a slowpitch cut swing just yet, I'm not going for that. Just trying to work on power right now
After others pointing me in the right direction for slowpitch sizing (12.75"), I landed on an 1810 as the weapon of choice. Just finished my first round of breaking in.
Still debating whether to flare pinky a bit, but happy on where things are for the first go.
Looking for any advice on mechanics.
I notice I'm a lot more "handsy" using my arms at the tee and in games compared to practice swings with no target ball. I really focus on my hips exploding out from closed to open.
95% Finished breaking in this new Jax DM-5S I received about a month ago. I'm currently going TIP with a mostly single-hinge break-in, thumb to middle. Pocket is starting to feel like a vacuum.
I'm not noticing any issues with "thin fingers" like many have complained about with Jax, but the top of thumb is a little uncomfortable, at least when playing couch catch with a heavy ball. It's caused by the welting and thumb loops pressing against the top of the thumb. I suspect that will fade over time.
Overall really happy with how it turned out.
Are these creases near the pinky hinge considered "palm bubbles?"
I have maybe one more attempt at water and mallet left in me, but I really don't see these going away at this point.
