UPDATE: Malware on PleasantSims website has been removed!

I got an email from the site's hosts letting me know that they have found the malware and removed it. I have gone on the website and tested it myself and can confirm that it appears to be gone.

Please be careful out there guys. If anything feels remotely off, it's always best just to close the tab and steer clear!

Do not use Pleasant Sims website - it is infected with Malware

Please do not use Pleasant Sim's website as it has been compromised. It is using a fake CloudFlare verification that will install malware onto your PC!

We know the initial reaction is to go and have a look for yourself out of curiosity but please do not do it. If you follow the instructions on the page you will install malware onto your PC.

If you ever see the below picture, do not do it

We know this isn't the usual post from us, but since the website is so widely used as a resource for Sims 2 content, we thought it was important to share.

If you have a free moment, you can help try to get this sorted by reporting it to Google here and, not that they can do much about it really, but CloudFlare here.

Thanks to u/MediocrePear6628 for the heads up!

TLDR: ovarian cystectomy of an 8cm dermoid cyst on 31 December 2025. Ongoing severe pelvic pain. Seen gynae today who say it's adhesions and the only option is pain clinic or more surgery to remove adhesions.

I'm in the UK so some stuff may not translate well for non-UK peeps.

Background:

I was diagnosed with PCOS at hospital as a teenager (between 15 or 17, I'm 34 now) which was then denied by my GP who refused treatment and said I was fine and I was left to endure PCOS symptoms all my life. The few periods I had before the pill were always excruciating but with a lot of trial and error I found the one pill that eliminated periods and pain.

October 2025 I started bleeding which is very unusual and I knew something was wrong. While at work on 25 December I had very bad cramping, which is again unusual for me. The cramping got worse to the point where I couldn't cope and I had to go to A&E on 28 December as everything was closed over christmas. I was admitted into hospital and had a scan the following morning which revealed an 8cm dermoid cyst on my left ovary with free fluid in my abdomen and infection markers through the roof. I also had another 3cm cyst on my right ovary. I was scheduled for surgery and had the left cyst out on 31 December.

The pain reduced after surgery and I seemed to be recovering okay, until I wasn't. I started to get sharp, stabbing, intense pain that took my breath away in the ovary that was operated on and the right ovary as well, dull aching pain across my entire pelvis, pain radiating up my stomach and down into my hips and thighs, pain in the incisions, and just general pain everywhere in the surrounding areas.

I had an ultrasound scan last month which revealed the right cyst had turned into a hemorrhagic cyst but had shrunk. A 5.5mm polyp was also found in the uterus which wasn't there in December. The scan was otherwise inconclusive.

I've just been to gynaecology today who talked me through what had been happening and did a thorough examination. In the opinion of the clinician and her supervisor, they believe it is adhesions causing the pain. The only options they have given me is to go to a pain clinic to manage the pain, or have further surgery to try to remove the adhesions. She said it's very likely the adhesions will come back worse so it's up to me if its worth it or not.

I'm signed off work. I can't walk, drive, or even lift anything. I'm in constant pain on the maximum dose of co-codamol that does nothing. I have no quality of life, no money as statutory sick pay is garbage, nothing at all to live for and my quality of life is abysmal. I've been so down and unhappy for the last 5 months and now I've been told it's a pain clinic or the possibility of maybe fixing it or maybe making it so much worse. It's so demoralising to think that I might not ever go back to normal.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything even remotely similar? Literally anything similar just to make me feel less alone? I've been looking at studies on adhesions and removal and the outcomes seem so dire, I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences they'd be okay sharing.
