OEM gloss black M340i & xDrive badges… worth it? Looking for opinions

Looking for some opinions from people who have actually done this.
I’ve had my 2026 Portimao Blue M340i xDrive for about a month now and am very happy with it. My goal with this car has been to keep it OEM+ and respect the BMW design.
So far the only exterior change I’ve made is adding the OEM M Performance fender badges. That’s about as far as I wanted to go.
The only other thing I’m considering is replacing the chrome rear M340i and xDrive badges with gloss black versions. Kind of like Audi’s Black Optics package.
I don’t want the car to look modified or overdone. I actually like the factory look—I just think the black badges might tie in better with the Shadowline trim, black wheels, mirrors, spoiler, diffuser, and window trim.
I found what appears to be the OEM gloss black M340i emblem (part 51-14-5-A57-7A7) - see picture, but I haven’t been able to find an OEM gloss black xDrive badge.
Does BMW make one, or is there a high-quality aftermarket version that matches OEM? If you’ve done yours, where did you buy it?
Also, looking at my spec in the photos, would you do it or leave it exactly as it is?
Honest opinions appreciated. Thank you!

M 50 Year Heritage Roundels

Looking for some opinions from fellow BMW enthusiasts.

2026 M340i xDrive in Portimao Blue over Cognac. So far the only modifications I’ve made are 35% ceramic tint and I’m installing OEM gloss black M Performance side badges this week.

I’m considering adding the BMW M 50 Years heritage roundels (hood and trunk only). I know my car isn’t a special anniversary edition—I simply like the look of the heritage colors and think they tie in nicely with the Portimao Blue paint, red calipers, and M340i badging.

I’m not looking to turn the car into something it isn’t, and I don’t plan on doing many more modifications. My goal is to keep it clean, tasteful, and as close to an OEM+ factory appearance as possible.

Would you add the heritage roundels, or leave it as-is?

Once I hit the highway that B58 sold itself

Just picked up my 2026 M340i xDrive (G20 LCI) in Portimao Blue/Cognac.

I put a deposit down about a month ago and spent the last few weeks going back and forth between this, an X1 M35i, and even a 330 questioning my deposit.

I drove the X1 M35i this weekend and loved it, but the lease numbers weren’t great. The 330i was tempting too because of cost, but once I got this G20 onto the highway in sport mode and let the B58 do its thing and my decision was made. The power delivery, sound and effortless acceleration changed the conversation.

Any tips, favorite settings, or things a new G20 LCI M340 owner should know? Any modifications a must, etc? Can’t wait to break this beauty in!
