When do you think Jax and Lori K REALLY started hooking up?
I reckon they have been at it for years. Well before the separation.
I reckon they have been at it for years. Well before the separation.
There would be more of:
- Sweet scenes like the one with Michelle, Isabelle and her dad
- Lala at home with her family and her dogs, doing daily life
- Janet and Jason parenting, living with her mum. Jason juggling work as a lawyer with being a dad and husband
- Brittany with Cruz, his development and them
going on play dates etc.
- Melissa and Jasmine, buying their house, moving to The Valley, planning what comes next in life
- Danny and miscounting their kids
- Kristen and Luke at their home with the baby, navigating their relationship. Similar to what we see now I guess, but more daily life.
- Jesse and Lacy navigating their relationship and their daughters
- Schwartz entering adulthood, supporting his brother etc
- Zack and Benji’s relationship
- occasional friendship cactchups between some or all of the group, but in a way that feels natural, not performed for the camera
Less:
- parties and partying
- themed dressing
- ridiculous drama
- toxicity
How would you do it?
It is very clear that Kristen is postpartum; her hormones are all over the place and it’s making her emotional and vulnerable. I get it. I’ve been there. Twice. It’s real. However it is not the reason her and Luke are having issues.
The real reason is the mask has slipped.
Kristen has been masking her true personality the whole time she has been with Luke. She has tried to bend herself into who she thinks he wants her to be. A bit more tradwife and a bit less Witches of Weho. A bit more Nia and a bit less Kristen. But in reality Kristen is, and has alway been an unhinged, irrational mess.
Remember in season 1 when Luke appeared genuinely shocked and disappointed that Kristen was making up rumours and casually flinging them around (re Michelle having a boyfriend)? She backtracked and tried to reframe how she had said it “I said she had a a friend a Year AGO, not FOR a year”. It was clear that Luke wasn’t used to this kind of cray cray behaviour. So Kristen, sat on the couch and obediently let him scold her, all the while pretending demurely that she had just been misunderstood, when in fact he was meeting the real Kristen for the first time. The Kirsten he hadn’t met pre-filming, when they were new in their relationship and she was still on her best behaviour. He told her she had to apologise and take accountability without the “I’m sorry BUT” and she swallowed her rage and nodded along.
But the cameras don’t lie, and as soon as they came out, so did the real Kristen.
Kirsten did her best to hide who she really is for as long as she could, but the hormones and weariness of postpartum peeled the mask away, and now Luke has seen her in all her emotionally stunted, manipulative, immature glory. And he doesn’t like what he sees.
Oh and add to that the fact that he too is an immature, selfish twat. Therein lies their issue.
I get the strong impression watching the show that Zack is secretly a lot more reasonable and levelheaded than he pretends to be. It seems to me like he’d like to put the Janet stuff behind him and just move on, but he’s so afraid of upsetting Kristen that he won’t do it. He’s wedded to this shtick of ‘me and Kristen are petty and it’s so camp and hilarious’, and I feel like is an act at this point.
Why won’t he stand up to her?
Has anyone noticed that Kristen is going extra hard to REALLY show us all that she has bfffffffs with Brittany and Zack. She is really putting some elbow grease into it before we watch the reunion and she (hopefully) gets called out for flat out lying about basically throwing them under the bus for being drunks.
A few throwback photos of you with baby Cruz, won’t make us forget Kristen.

Thankyou to the many people who have pointed out it was the rehearsal dinner. I realise that. When I first posted it, most of America was asleep and it was Saturday afternoon in Australia. I can clearly now see as time has gone by that it wasn’t the wedding itself. It doesn’t change my personal opinion that sharing footage of someone’s wedding (particularly of the couple themselves as opposed to just the table setting or something) before they do, is tacky. And yes I consider the rehearsal dinner to be part of the event as a whole.

Am I missing something, or did Brittany just post a story of Jasmine and Melissa at their wedding, before the couple themselves or anybody else have posted any pics? I feel like that is pretty on the nose to do. Am I wrong?
