Daily speaking and listening practice at 9am (Germany time). About N3 level. Any takers?

We have a group of people doing practice at these times, and are looking for more people. Sometimes we also have natives join us, it can be quite fun.

You don’t need to be in Germany time though, as long as the time fits :D

We can do a little one on one test with me if you would like first, so you don’t get thrown into a group not being sure of what will happen xD

Would people be interested in beginner level game sessions?

Currently I am a member of a Discord where we do speaking/listening practice on a regular basis, but I think some of it might not be beginner friendly enough.

So I was wondering, that maybe, if enough people are interested, we could make beginner stuff too?

It would go something like this (we had a native do an exchange with us in the game :D ):

N4-N3 level learner here. Let's learn together?

Hi. Someone that would like to practice Japanese with me? We would do writing, reading, speaking and listening.

I practice daily at about 8:30 (Germany time) for 90 minutes.

I am part of a community where we practice with each other, but it would be nice with more active people:D

Teaching Kids Economy and Agency

Hi there! :D

I have always thought that as we become more and more able to provide our kids with anything they want, that it is very important to make sure they are taught and aware that things require effort and trade-offs.

When you can give them everything, where do you set the limits? How do you for example make delayed gratification rules that make sense and are consistent?

And I got this idea. I like to think about it as a "Family Economy" system.

Imagine this:

Parents can provide currency, for example "stars" or "helping bucks" or you name it, for helping in the home or doing productive activities.

Then the child can spend it on whatever they want in the "Family Store", for example candy, gaming time, a new bike, you name it.

This way, they are taught that getting one thing over another thing has a price, and that decisions and how you spend is important.

What I like about this idea, is that family values also emerge from the "Family Store", because the available items and their prices actually reflect said values. It also gives the children agency and control, if they buy 5 hours of gaming, it's theirs, and don't need to worry about "when dad comes home" (that was a particular fear of mine as a kid when I binged gaming lol). It also for example removes the "have they had too much gaming time today?" Thought from the parents, because the rules were clear. It also allows you to clearly see what your children value, since their spending is an indication of priorities.

Lastly, it can create more family moments, you can negotiate prices with your children, teach them about production, saving, spending, and debt. It is a deeper form of interaction preparing them for the real world.

What do you dear parents think about this?

Best regards.

How many here are absolute beginners? What if you could start speaking in 10 days?

I ask, because I have seen many people start learning, and after months they still freeze when trying to speak.

I think I can cut that down to 10 days, and then hook you up with people that are also learning, and maybe even natives when you have high enough level.

The process would literally be to just go directly for the highest importance things, (kanas, most basic powerful grammar, and words/phrases). Enough to put you in a gamified speaking environment that could make you learn much faster than with "Duolingo" or other useless crap.

The method is essentially inspired by how I learned English. English is my third language, and I learned to use it by simply interacting a lot with it with videogames lol.

Any takers?

What do you think about this strategy? (Free leads offer)

Me and a partner run a "digital infrastructure business". In other words, just ensuring lead flow with automations, lead capturing, and websites (everything is a package). And we even know it actually generates leads because of our current clients.

Our systems can be set up quite quickly, it can literally be ready in 1 Day, and are thinking about just giving away the system for free to those that want to keep up with the times while not spending extra. It would literally just be a DIY guide with all the tricks and details.

How would we get money? If people don't want to do it themselves, we do it for them, that's it lol.

What do you think? Am I making a mistake?
