Where should I buy silk slips from? I want real silk, and as affordable as possible haha.
In Canada. Any recommendations would be wonderful!
I’ve heard of silksilky but heard bad reviews about it.

Feeling very emotionally drained and unseen with my husband

My husband and I have been married for about eight months, and I’m really struggling with the emotional side of our relationship.
I really love my husband, and I know he loves and cares about me too. I genuinely want to spend the rest of my life with him, inshallah. There are a lot of good things about our marriage. We don’t really struggle with finances, physical affection, or our day-to-day life together. The biggest issue is the emotional side.
I’ve always been a very sensitive person, and I don’t think that’s something negative. I told him before we got married that emotional support was one of the biggest things I needed from my future husband, especially when I’m struggling. I also explained what emotional support looks like for me because I didn’t want him to have to guess.

The things that make me feel loved are actually very simple. I don’t need expensive gifts. I love words of affection like hearing that he loves me, why he loves me, what he misses about me, or things he notices about me. I also love small things like occasional flowers, my favorite snack, or a handwritten note. Those things make me feel loved and seen
I’ve told him this many times because I wanted him to understand what makes me feel cared for. He has done those things before. He wrote me letters at the beginning of our relationship, bought me flowers, and did thoughtful things that I appreciated. But over time, I am wishing they happened more naturally instead of feeling like they only happened after I’d repeatedly asked. The last letter he wrote me was on our wedding day, eight months ago.
I’m not saying he never says kind things to me. He does compliment me, and he’s physically affectionate. I just wish I also felt loved in the specific ways I’ve told him are meaningful to me.
The bigger issue is how we handle disagreements.
There have been many times where something he says during an argument hurts me, and I end up spending a long time explaining why it hurt. Sometimes he understands afterward and apologizes, and I genuinely appreciate those apologies. Other times he doesn’t think he did anything wrong. Either way, I often leave those conversations feeling like I had to spend so much energy explaining why I was hurt before we could even address the original issue, and that’s become emotionally exhausting.

A few days ago, I finally opened up to him about my fears surrounding pregnancy and becoming a mother. One of my biggest fears is losing myself and losing my hobbies, my personality, and the little things that make me feel like me. I even mentioned something small like Minecraft because it’s something that genuinely makes me happy.
At first he comforted me, but later in the conversation he became frustrated, raised his voice, and told me to stop overthinking. I simply told him I was going to bed. About half an hour later he apologized on his own without me having to explain why it hurt, and I genuinely appreciated that. But the moment itself stayed with me because it reinforced a fear I’ve been carrying for a while.
My biggest fear isn’t actually pregnancy itself. It’s that I already don’t always feel emotionally supported when I’m struggling now. If I already feel this way, how am I supposed to feel confident going through pregnancy, postpartum, and raising children, which are times when I know I’ll probably need even more emotional support from my husband?
I’ve told him many times that we don’t have to agree during disagreements. I know we’ll see things differently sometime. All I need is reassurance.
Even if he thinks I’m wrong, I still want to hear that he loves me, that he cares about me, and that we’re still on the same team. Earlier in our marriage he used to say those things during arguments, but somewhere along the way they became much less common. I’ve told him many times how important that reassurance is to me because, to me, reassurance doesn’t mean agreement

Lately I’ve been struggling to trust that our relationship will become what I need emotionally. I do think there have been some positive changes recently, and I don’t want to ignore those. But I still find myself questioning whether those changes will continue when we’re stressed, overwhelmed, or disagreeing.

He refuses marriage counseling, and I feel like I’ve suggested so many different solutions over the past eight months. At this point I honestly feel like I’ve run out of ideas.

I don’t want to leave him. The thought of leaving him honestly breaks my heart because I love him so much.

But I also know that love alone isn’t enough if my emotional needs continue to go unmet.
I don’t want to accept that this is simply how our marriage will always be because I genuinely don’t think I could spend the rest of my life feeling this way.
I also feel like this relationship has changed me.
In the beginning, I approached conflict very gently. Over time, after repeatedly feeling hurt, I’ve become more guarded and reactive. Recently I made a conscious effort to go back to approaching disagreements calmly and gently because I didn’t like the person I was becoming. I really tried.
But after doing that, I still felt like we ended up in the same place, and that left me feeling even more hopeless.
I really do love my husband, and I truly want our marriage to work.
I’m just scared that I’m slowly losing trust that it will.
