This is my second time taking a big 5 test from Openpsychometrics. Tell me your results and see if it was accurate to your personality or not 😯
Lately, I've been exploring a bit of alt fashion recently as it was something I've always wanted to do when thrifting or buying inexpensive clothes for both aesthetic & practical purposes. I'm a huge listener of alt music that can range from goth, alt rock, & indie rock to alt metal, alt hip hop, & indie pop (I have a bunch more that I haven't listed yet). My personal style is rather practical, modest, & comfortable, as well as baggy, laidback, & requires minimal effort. I usually avoid super bright colors, as I usually prefer to wear dark-to-neutral colors as well as a bit of pastels. My favorite colors are black & red, although I'm not sure how to make these two colors combined look "mature" (not sexy) without looking too flashy or "teenage-like" (I'm 20 btw). Also, not to mention, I'm 4'11, so it's a bit more difficult for me to look for clothing that's the right size (I wear either XXS or XS) as well as my legs looking short as I would like to find clothing that would male me look "taller" (I could wear high heels, but I don't want to further risk injuring myself if I twist one of my Achilles' heel on accident as well as not being my personal style).
Styling tips on this matter would be greatly appreciated as constructive.
A fun casual fact I would like to include is that Washington state is known as the birthplace of Grunge in the city of Seattle (thus the name, "Seattle Sound"), where musical innovation was frequently common throughout it's history, with grunge basically being a subgenre of alternative rock whose music is a mixture of punk rock & heavy metal in DIY fashion, first occuring throughout the mid to late 80s. The earliest known grunge band was Green River, a pioneer to the grunge genre where their 1985 debut album, Come on Down, is often described as the first "true" grunge that was released to the public. Before Nirvana, grunge wasn't a mainstream music genre, as it was an isolated, underground music with a lack of proper commercial marketing, which led to many niche artists & fans to embrace it's obscurity and anti-consumerist attitude for years. The music's core anti-consumerist ideals made the entire genre become defined by its DIY, anti-fashion where artists would wear practical, thrifted clothes such as worn-out band t-shirts, flannels, ripped jeans, & sneakers (anything that's affordable, comfortable, & effortless, a common style you can still find in Seattle or other parts of the Pacific Northwest today) to adapt to the cold, rainy climates rather than making a "fashion statement" or deliberate trend, which also meant rejecting mainstream brands. Also, I think its worth mentioning that Nirvana is not an actual grunge band as their music were influenced by punk rock rather than grunge.
