Looking at homes near birdland neighborhood vs cherry orchard

My family is planning a move to Sunnyvale later this year and we are trying to figure out the vibe of different pockets. We want something fairly walkable but still quiet. Any insights on how those two areas compare for daily living?

Women of r/CCW: what do you wish you knew before your first concealed carry setup?

I’m working on my first firearm for concealed carry and honestly the more I read, the more I feel like I’m missing stuff that only shows up once you actually start using it.

Most of the advice I’m finding feels pretty generic or written from a male perspective, so I’m curious what the real world learning curve looked like for women here.

Not really looking for gun recommendations right now, more like the practical things you don’t think about early on:

holster comfort / fit issues that weren’t obvious at first clothing changes that actually made a difference (and what didn’t work at all) how the range experience was when you were new dealing with gun shop culture as a beginner any training classes that felt actually welcoming/helpful

I keep seeing people say they had to buy something, realize it didn’t fit their life/body/style, then resell and start over. Trying to avoid that if possible.

What would you tell your past self?
