[Feature Focus] What can the IceBreaker tool do in a WePlay Voice Room? 🎲

Some Voice Rooms start with instant chaos. Others need someone to press the button first. 🎲

That is where IceBreaker comes in. In supported WePlay Voice Rooms, the room owner or admins can open the widget, choose a mode, and start a draw. Other players take part, and the selected player completes the activity.

IceBreaker includes four official modes:

  • Gift Challenge;
  • Truth or Dare;
  • Never Have I Ever;
  • Dice.

Room owners and admins can also create up to three custom modes by adding their own title and content.

The draw uses players who are currently on mic seats, so there need to be enough seated participants before it can start. Gift Challenge also includes gifting as part of the activity, while the other modes offer different ways for the room to play together.

Which IceBreaker mode does your room choose first? Have you created a custom mode that everyone keeps asking to play again? 👇

Availability, names, and available content may vary by region, language, app version, and room type. Some challenge content also differs between rooms for minors and adult rooms.

[Monday Surprise] Which WePlay game did you underestimate at first... but end up enjoying? 👀

Monday surprise check. 👀

Some games need exactly one good round before your entire opinion changes.

At first:

“This looks too simple.”

Two rounds later:

You are explaining the strategy to everyone, demanding a rematch, and acting like you believed in the game from the beginning. 😭

Maybe a friend convinced you to try it.

Maybe one ridiculous comeback changed everything.

Maybe the voice chat made the round ten times funnier.

Or maybe the game finally clicked after you understood the strategy.

Which WePlay game did you underestimate at first... but end up enjoying?

What changed your mind: the gameplay, the people you played with, or one unforgettable round? 👇

WePlay Teams Up with Care Bears™ for a Halloween Carnival Party

The limited-time collaboration brings Care Bears-themed virtual gifts, seasonal in-app looks, and caring-inspired social experiences to WePlay from October 17 to 31

SINGAPORE, October 2025 - WePlay, a social entertainment app operated by WEJOY PTE. LTD., announced a Halloween collaboration with Care Bears™ built around a limited-time “Halloween Carnival Party.” Running from October 17 to October 31, 2025, the campaign brings the colorful world and caring spirit of Care Bears into WePlay through themed virtual gifts, Halloween-inspired in-app looks, and seasonal campaign experiences designed for shared play and social interaction.

The collaboration invites users to join WePlay mascot Will and the Care Bears for a playful celebration of friendship, encouragement, and emotional connection. By combining Halloween's trick-or-treat energy with the warmth and optimism associated with Care Bears, the campaign turns the season into an opportunity to share positive moments with friends in WePlay.

WePlay Teams Up with Care Bears™ for a Halloween Carnival Party

A Halloween Makeover Filled with Caring

During the campaign, users can explore a collection of limited-time content across WePlay. Seasonal campaign benefits add an extra layer to the celebration, while Care Bears-themed virtual gifts give users a colorful way to share encouragement and affection during games and conversations.

The collaboration also introduces limited Halloween-themed skins that blend playful spooky motifs with the bright, friendly style of Care Bears. These customization options allow users to bring the campaign into their in-app identities and join the Halloween party as their own “magical companion.”

Together, the themed gifts and visual content extend the collaboration beyond decoration. They are designed to become part of the way users communicate, celebrate, and create shared memories across WePlay's multiplayer games and social spaces.

Turning Seasonal Play into Shared Connection

Care Bears are known for their iconic belly badges and a world centered on caring, kindness, and emotional expression. Those ideas offer a natural connection to WePlay's focus on bringing people together through games and real-time interaction.

At the heart of the campaign is a simple idea: everyone carries a little inner magic that can help turn a difficult mood into a lighter shared moment. Within WePlay's online party setting, users can join interactive games, exchange themed gifts, and connect with others through playful experiences inspired by the Care Bears message of sharing and caring.

The campaign continues WePlay's exploration of how recognizable cultural characters can be translated into participatory online experiences. Rather than appearing only as visual decoration, the Care Bears collaboration is woven into customization, gifting, multiplayer play, and social interaction, giving users several ways to experience the partnership together.

Through future collaborations, WePlay plans to continue bringing culturally familiar characters and themes into its social entertainment experience while creating more opportunities for users to play, express themselves, and connect with friends online.

About WePlay

[FAQ Friday] Can I change my WePlay UID? 👤

It is FAQ Friday, and today we are answering:

Can I change my WePlay UID?

The quick answer:

You cannot manually type in or edit your original WePlay ID. It is generated automatically when your account is created.

However, Lucky Numbers are available in selected regions. If this feature is available to you, you can set a Lucky Number as the ID shown on your profile and switch back to your original ID later. Your account, level, and items remain unchanged. 👤✨

The important difference is:

  • Original WePlay ID: automatically generated for your account and cannot be manually edited.
  • Lucky Number: an optional number that can replace the ID displayed on your profile where the feature is available.
  • Nickname / display name: separate from your WePlay ID. If you only want to change the name shown on your profile, use the available profile-editing options in the app.

To check whether you can use this feature, open the Lucky Number page in your current version of WePlay. The available numbers and current rules are shown there.

Lucky Numbers are only available in selected regions. Availability and the applicable rules may vary, so please follow the information displayed in your app.

For your privacy, please avoid posting unnecessary account details or personal information publicly. Never share login details, verification codes, phone numbers, or payment information in Reddit comments. For account-specific help, contact Customer Service through the app.

If Lucky Numbers are available in your region, what kind would you choose: repeating digits, a lucky sequence, or simply the easiest number to remember? 👀👇

[Game Guide Thursday] How does Oh My Card work on WePlay? 🃏

It is Game Guide Thursday, and today we are answering:

How does Oh My Card work on WePlay?

The quick answer:

Oh My Card is a fast multiplayer card game on WePlay. Match the color or the number on the table, and be the first player to empty your hand. 🃏

The basic flow is simple:

  • Play a card that matches the current color or number.
  • Use action cards such as Skip, Reverse, Color Change, +2, and +4 to change the round.
  • Some versions also include a same-color combo that lets you play matching cards together.
  • When you are down to your final card, remember to call “UNO.” If another player catches you before you do, you may have to draw extra cards.
  • If someone plays a +4 against you, the game may let you challenge whether that card was played legally. Choose carefully: a successful challenge can punish the player who used it, while a failed challenge can leave you drawing even more cards. 👀

Depending on what is available in your version, you can play individually in Classic mode or team up in a 2v2 Party mode. Voice chat and ranked seasons can add a more social or competitive layer to the game.

Exact action cards, penalties, mode names, voice features, and ranked availability may vary by region, mode, or app version. Follow the rules and prompts shown in your current game.

Now we need a ruling from the card table:

Which moment creates the most chaos: forgetting to call UNO, getting hit with a +4, or watching someone drop a same-color combo? 😭👇

[WeFamily Lore Day] Will made a full summer to-do list... and lasted three minutes 😌📝

Welcome back to WeFamily Lore Day! 📝

Today's main character is Will, a master planner with approximately three minutes of follow-through.

Summer break had barely started, and Will was already busy filling an entire page with goals.

The plan looked perfect.

The motivation looked unstoppable.

The execution lasted three minutes. 😭

Will slowly closed the laptop and announced:

“I'm great at planning. The execution part depends entirely on luck.” 😌

Maybe he will get back to the list tomorrow.

Maybe he will make a new list about getting back to the old list.

P.S. The only activity Will can somehow continue for more than three minutes? Playing WePlay. 🎮

Be honest: what is still sitting unfinished on your own summer to-do list? 👀👇

[Hot Take Tuesday] Party games get less fun when everyone plays too seriously 👀

Hot take time, WePlay Fam 🌶️

Party games get less fun when everyone plays too seriously.

A little competition? Fun. A dramatic comeback? Even better.

But when one wrong move turns into a five-minute investigation, teammates start giving performance reviews, and every loss needs a full appeal... the party game has accidentally become a job interview. 😭

The best rounds are usually the ones where people can try a ridiculous strategy, laugh at a mistake, and hit rematch without blaming the whole room.

That does not mean nobody should care about winning. We just need a ruling on where “competitive” becomes “too competitive.”

Where do you draw the line?

A. Winning is the point

B. Try hard, stay friendly

C. Laugh first, score later

D. I still do not know who won

Defend your choice below 👇

[Monday Confession] Do you have a lucky ritual before a WePlay game? 🍀

Monday confession time. 🍀

Some of us say we do not believe in luck.

Then the game starts and suddenly we need:

  • the same seat every round
  • one specific Avatar outfit
  • a lucky emoji before pressing ready
  • the same friend to host
  • absolutely anyone else to go first 😭

No judgment here. If it worked once, it is basically tradition now.

Do you have a lucky ritual before a WePlay game?

And be honest: what happens when someone breaks it? 👀👇

[FAQ Friday] Is WePlay safe? Here’s what users should know 🛡️

It is FAQ Friday, and today we are answering:

Is WePlay safe? 🛡️

The quick answer:

WePlay provides safety tools, moderation measures, and support channels designed to help protect users. However, like any online social platform, WePlay cannot guarantee a completely risk-free experience.

That is why safety on WePlay combines platform protections with tools that help users control their own interactions.

How WePlay approaches safety

1. Prevention and content moderation

WePlay uses both automated systems and human review to identify and respond to content or behavior that may violate platform rules. Because voice interaction is an important part of WePlay, moderation is not limited to text and images, voice room content is also covered. The checks used can depend on the type of content, feature, and level of risk involved.

2. Risk detection and intervention

When potentially harmful or abnormal behavior is detected, WePlay applies measures based on the situation and level of risk. These can include warnings, interaction restrictions, content limits, or other appropriate measures. Serious violations can lead to stronger enforcement under the platform rules.

3. Reports, enforcement, and review

Users can report concerning behavior through available in-app tools. Reports are reviewed using relevant account and interaction information when available. Users who believe an account action was issued incorrectly can use the available Customer Service or appeal channels for review.

4. User safety controls

You can block another account or leave a room that feels uncomfortable. Depending on the feature and current app version, you may also be able to adjust interaction settings or ask a room owner or administrator for help.

Protections involving minors

WePlay has introduced additional measures for scenarios involving minors. Depending on the relevant feature, region, and account, these may include age-related safeguards, protections in public-facing areas, risk intervention, parental controls, and stronger action against serious violations.

Our published safety update provides more detail about work carried out from June 2025 through April 2026:

Read the update on WePlay’s protections for minors

What users can do

  • Keep passwords, verification codes, payment details, phone numbers, and other personal information private.
  • Leave a room or conversation if it feels uncomfortable.
  • Use the available report or block tools when needed.
  • For account-specific or sensitive cases, contact Customer Service in the app through Me → Help & Customer Service.
  • General support: support@wejoysg.com
  • Concerns involving minors: youth@weplayapp.com

For detailed reporting and blocking guidance:

Read our report and block FAQ

Please do not post private account details, verification codes, payment information, or sensitive evidence publicly on Reddit.

Safety is ongoing work, and WePlay will continue reviewing its tools and processes as online risks and user needs change.

Which safety topic would you like us to explain next: reporting, account security, privacy, or room moderation? 👇

Last updated: August 2026. Features and support routes may vary by region, account, and app version.

[Game Guide Thursday] How does Reversi work on WePlay? ⚫⚪

It is Game Guide Thursday, and today we are answering:

How does Reversi work on WePlay? ⚫⚪

The quick answer:

Reversi on WePlay is a 1v1 strategy game played on an 8×8 board. Black and white take turns placing pieces, and any opposing pieces trapped in a straight line between your pieces flip to your color.

When neither player has a valid move, the game ends. The player with more pieces on the board wins, and an equal count results in a draw.

How a typical round works

  1. Place a piece where it can trap one or more opposing pieces.
  2. The trapped pieces flip to your color.
  3. Your opponent plays and tries to flip them back.
  4. Keep watching the edges and corners. One move can change a much larger part of the board than expected. 👀

Turns are timed to keep matches moving, and repeated timeouts may activate automatic play.

What else can you find in WePlay's Reversi?

Depending on your region, version, and available mode, you may also see:

  • AI matches for practice, with difficulty adjusted to your experience
  • special board variations with blocked spaces and different opening patterns
  • daily endgame challenges that focus on solving a specific board position
  • collectible piece skins with different placement sounds and flip animations
  • room-based matches and friend spectating

Some matching tiers may have Gold entry requirements. Always check the current conditions shown in the app before joining, as availability, values, and rewards may change.

If you have played Reversi on WePlay, which do you prefer: the classic board, special board variations, or endgame challenges? 👇

[Game Spotlight] How does Paint Hide & Seek work on WePlay? 🎨👀

Hey WePlay Fam! 🎨👀

Yesterday, Paint Hide & Seek showed up in our Monday Discovery thread, so it is time for a proper introduction.

A quick naming note:

This game may appear under a different English or localized name depending on your region or language. For this post, we will call it Paint Hide & Seek.

Today we are answering:

How does Paint Hide & Seek work on WePlay?🎨👀

The quick answer:

Paint Hide & Seek is a team-based hide-and-seek game on WePlay. Hiders use paint tools to blend themselves into the environment, while Hunters search the scene and try to spot them. If a Hider is found, they join the Hunter team, so the search gets more intense as the round continues.

How a typical round works:

  1. Start from a private room or join through matchmaking, where available.
  2. Players are split into Hiders and Hunters, with team sizes adjusted based on the number of players. Players may volunteer to become Hunters in the lobby, while final roles are completed automatically.
  3. Hiders enter the scene first and get a short preparation phase. Hunters remain outside the scene until the search begins.
  4. Hiders can use paint-pressure options, a color palette, an eyedropper, and undo to match the surrounding environment.
  5. When the search starts, Hunters enter and look for anything that feels slightly out of place.
  6. A Hider who is found switches sides and helps the Hunters continue the search.
  7. Hunters win if every Hider is found. Hiders win if at least one remains hidden when time runs out.

Depending on the current mode and version, scoring may reward staying hidden, finding Hiders, taking riskier actions such as whistling, or remaining in a Hunter’s view without being recognized.

Exact names, timing, team sizes, controls, scoring, entry routes, and availability may vary by region, mode, and version. Please follow the instructions shown in your current version of WePlay.

Now choose your side:

🎨 Hiders: What makes a camouflage spot believable?

👀 Hunters: What tiny detail gives someone away?

[Game Guide Thursday] How does Space Werewolf work on WePlay? 🚀👀

It is Game Guide Thursday, and today we are answering:

How does Space Werewolf work on WePlay?

The quick answer:

Space Werewolf is a real-time social deduction game on WePlay for 4–12 players. Most players are divided into two teams: Crewmates and Impostors, while some modes may also include special third-party roles with their own win conditions. 🚀

Here is how a typical round works:

1. Everyone receives a role

Crewmates try to complete tasks and identify the Impostors.

Impostors pretend to be Crewmates while looking for chances to eliminate players and sabotage the ship.

Some modes may add special roles with unique abilities or independent goals.

2. Players move around the map

Crewmates work on different tasks while watching for suspicious behavior.

Impostors can fake tasks, create disruptions, and try to avoid being discovered.

3. A meeting is called

When someone reports a body or calls an emergency meeting, the action pauses and everyone discusses what happened through the communication options available in that mode.

4. Everyone votes

Players question each other, compare stories, and vote for the person they suspect.

After the vote, the round returns to the ship and the cycle continues.

How can each side win?

  • Crewmates: complete all required tasks or remove all Impostors through voting.
  • Impostors: reduce the remaining Crewmates until they no longer outnumber the Impostors, or succeed with a critical sabotage that is not repaired in time.
  • Special third-party roles: complete their own goal. For example, in modes that include a Jester-style role, that player may win by being voted out.

Different modes may use different roles, skills, tasks, communication options, or win conditions, so always check the rules shown for the mode you are entering.

Your turn, experienced detectives:

What is one tip you would give someone before their first Space Werewolf round? 👇

[WeFamily Lore Day] Emily found the perfect design... and entered Do Not Disturb mode ⚡✂️

Welcome back to WeFamily Lore Day.

Today's main character: Emily, WeFamily's design master and the only person who can turn one tiny idea into a full studio emergency.

One second, she was surrounded by fabric, staring at a blank mannequin.

The next second...

The light bulb appeared.

The scissors came out.

The fabric started flying.

And Emily officially entered Do Not Disturb: Design Mode.

According to WeFamily lore, the final look appeared after 30 hours of dramatic creative battle.

Was that a sensible schedule? Absolutely not.

Was Emily convinced the design was perfect? Absolutely yes. ✨

Important WeFamily safety notice:

Do not interrupt Emily while she is designing...

unless you are ready to become the main character of the next Lore Day. 👀

So we need to know:

What emergency would be important enough to interrupt Emily in the middle of Design Mode?

Wrong answers are highly encouraged. 👇

[Hot Take Tuesday] The reactions in voice chat are half the game 🎙️

Hey WePlay Fam! 🎙️😂

Today's Hot Take:

The reactions in voice chat are half the game.

Sure, knowing the rules matters.

Winning is nice too.

But the moments we actually remember are usually:

  • someone celebrating way too early
  • one laugh making the whole room lose focus
  • three people yelling completely different advice at once
  • that delayed group “OH NO” when everyone realizes what just happened

A clean, quiet win? Respectable.

A messy round with live commentary, dramatic gasps, and someone saying “WAIT, WAIT, WAIT” six times?

Cinema. 🍿

The game gives you the result.

The reactions give you the story.

Agree or disagree?
