[Wanted] 2+ bedroom townhouse/house/ADU for rent with yard in the Valley (Encino->Pasadena)

Hi everyone!

I thought I’d see if this amazing subreddit might have any leads.

I’m looking to rent a 2+ bedroom house/townhouse/private ADU (or similar with a private yard) in the Valley (from Tarzana/Encino, Burbank, Pasadena) for under $4,000/month with utilities.

The biggest reason I’m specifically looking for a house instead of my usual apartment living is my little dog. She’s a rescue and is unfortunately terrified of going outside despite intervention, which doesn’t help with my apartment living, so having a secure yard where she can safely go potty and get some exercise would make such a huge difference for her. Also have 2 chill cats and they’re all best friends.

My current apartment lease only ends December 1, but I want to see what is out there so I can plan whether to renew or not. If anyone knows of any rentals that aren’t listed yet, has a landlord looking for a great tenant, or has any leads at all, I’d be so grateful. Thank you so much! 🩷

Premium processing timelines?

my F1->H1B COS case was sent in last Wednesday, and then upgraded to premium processing on Friday 6/27, after receiving the receipt. how long are we generally seeing for cases to be reviewed with premium processing? I feel like my case would be straight forward in theory, but I also feel like I keep getting random road blocks in my visa processes so id love to know my verdict sooner than later!

H1b premium processing fee question. Can I pay it or employer has to?

Hello, my lawyers are about to submit my application before the deadline (they are the worst, don't ask why its so late). I was planning on paying the premium processing fee, but they are telling me only one card can be used online and since the employer has to pay the filing fees, they also need to pay my premium processing fee and I can pay my boss back for this. My boss has already done so much for me I do not want to strain our relationship even more by asking him if this is okay and I feel like I've seen people pay their own premium processing fee in this subreddit. Please let me know if this is possible to pay directly without having to pay my boss back? Thank you

Timeline for receiving RFE letter

got an RFE last Friday and my lawyers are claiming they haven’t received it yet (today is now one whole week since then!) what is the timeline for receiving the letter? both my lawyer and the California processing center that sent RFE are in the same state, actually not too far from each other. they are also claiming they never got the fax of it. so annoyed!
