Anyone have any recommendations for quality apartment complexes in Studio City? Whether you personally have had a positive experience living in an apartment in the area or alternatively have a friend who has had a great experience, I would love any and all names of complexes to check out.

More specifically, I'm looking for a 1 bed/1 bath with in unit washer/dryer, central A/C, and 1 parking space. Budget is ideally <3200. I tend to prefer new-ish buildings.

Hello Everyone! Listen to a lot of Reddit stories so when I was doing research I stumbled across this sub. My partner and I are currently living in North Carolina. He has accepted a job and will be moving out this summer. I will be staying behind to finish my school program so we are in search of a room to rent or some kind of co-living situation. We have been experiencing some problems in the application process with some of these apps that a lot of landlords are using to verify referrals and employment. He has worked at a university for 4 years but the university as an organization is difficult to work with and some of the landlords we have tried speaking to have not been helpful or just unresponsive.

I guess I am looking for more options to look at as he will need to be out there the 2nd week of August. Ether more Co-living options or some other sites to look for roommates (currently we have been on Sparerooms.com, Zillow and even responded to some on Craigslist)We are looking for somewhere along the 405 up into the valley for now.

So far I really liked a place near Meadowbrook Ave in Wilshire Vista/Miracle Mile, but it may be leased before I can get it.
What neighborhoods should I be looking at besides Miracle Mile, Wilshire Vista, South Carthay, Beverly Grove, and Culver City? Any specific buildings or hidden-gem areas you'd recommend?

Hi! My partner and I are moving down from Seattle and are seeking a private house, ADU, or apartment in West LA or the South Bay Area. Our budget is up to $3500 a month and we’re moving ASAP, so it must be available before August.

I know this room is cheap for the area, I promise it’s not a scam! It does have a shared bathroom and is in an older building for the area but definitely worth it; I’ve been here for 5 years and I love it.
