1 Roommate to Split a 3 Bedroom / 3 Bath House

Looking for 1 roommate to split a 3 bedroom/ 3 bath house with in Boyle Heights.

The third bedroom is an office/studio for us both. All walls have been painted white (except wood panel) and all rooms are furnished except your bedroom!

I'm early 30's male, queer, artsy, sportsy, at school 5-7 days a week for most of the day, quiet and chill when I am home but definitely don't mind having people over.

Love great food and stellar drinks, big concert/music fan, motorcycle/dirt bike/car hobbyist, love seeing all forms of art! Beach, outdoors, you know the rest ; )

1 year lease is ideal - $1800/month

**Somewhat negotiable if you're looking for less than 6 months**

Feel free to ask any questions!

  • Washer/Dryer in Unit
  • Large private bathroom with tub and shower
  • Large semi-walk-in closet in bedroom
  • Large Outdoor Patio
  • Lots of Street Parking
  • Central A/C and Heat
  • Walkable, quiet area
  • Gym equipment in the house
  • Lots of Storage
  • 5 minutes from Arts District (lots of nice restaurant, galleries, bars, coffee, etc.)
  • 10 min from DTLA

Jay Williams 2003 Crash

I’m old enough to remember a top basketball player/prospect out of Duke who got drafted to the Bulls and, after his rookie year, destroyed his entire career riding with no gear (or experience) on an R6.

I was just reading his accounting of the accident for the first time and I was curious about a specific part. In the excerpt, he says he was revving the bike while cruising then heard a “click” and all of a sudden the front wheel was in the air. It was his third such rev and he thought the clutch had “slipped”.

It was basically a brand new R6 though, what are the odds that can actually happen while the clutch is pulled in? What’re the Reddit experts opinions of what happened here I wonder..
