What career should I pursue if I hate coding?

I’m 17 and currently doing a diploma in Computer Engineering, but I’ve decided I’m going to drop out and pursue something I actually enjoy.

I’m interested in 3D animation, character animation, game art, UI/UX, product design, graphic design, etc. I don’t have a specific career decided yet.

My main concern is AI. I want to choose something I can realistically learn through online courses/self-learning, has good career potential, and will still be relevant 5–10+ years from now.

For people working in these fields: which careers would you recommend, which should I avoid, and how much do you think AI will affect them?

Should I drop my diploma and pursue design/animation instead?

I’m 17, currently in the 3rd semester of a Computer Engineering diploma in India.

I’ve realized I genuinely don’t like coding or most of what I’m studying. The only thing I really enjoy is CGR, and I’m much more interested in graphic design, 3D, animation, product design, etc.

My current plan is to finish this semester while spending the next 3 months learning design and seeing if I actually enjoy it enough to pursue seriously.

If I still feel the same, I’m thinking of dropping the diploma, getting a laptop, and going all-in on learning design/animation through online courses and building a portfolio.

I know dropping out is risky, especially without a degree as a backup.

Would you guys recommend finishing the diploma while learning design on the side, or taking the risk and pursuing what I actually want?

Would especially appreciate advice from people working in design/animation or people who have switched careers/fields.
