Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a PhD candidate at McGill University. My dissertation project investigates the development of psychedelic-assisted therapy in Canada, and one of my studies investigates people’s experiences with psychedelic therapy, including in clinical, underground, ceremonial, and/or informal settings. The purpose of this research is to better understand people’s motivations and experiences with psychedelic therapy, and their perceptions of expertise and authority in the field. I anticipate that the main benefit of this project will be helping to shape the future landscape of Canadian psychedelic therapy by contributing to policy on harm reduction and equal access.

I’m looking to speak with individuals who have personally used psilocybin for therapeutic reasons and who are willing to share their perspectives with me in a confidential research interview. Interviews will take approximately an hour and will take place via secure videoconferencing. The criteria for participation is that you are Canadian and 18+.
