  6. Index alignment: The 9 seems to be off centered a bit. However it could be from me correcting the slightly slanted pictures provided by the TD. Let me know what you think.
  7. Dial Printing: looks ok to me. Let me know if you think otherwise
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The QC photo 9 is a bit oft (height) compared to the 2. Not going to get perfect but let me know what you think.
  9. Hand Alignment: looks good to me
  10. Bezel: Looks good to me. No noticeable scuffs or marks.
  11. Solid End Links (SELS): looks good to me
  12. Timegrapher numbers: - 0.3, 270 amplitude,
    0.1ms (screenshot from video, number were changing a bit)
  13. Anything else you notice: Scratch under the crown at the bracelets clasp. Could be the protective tape bubbling a bit.

Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated, as a novice, things may fly under the radar to my untrained eye.

Tudor Pelagos 39 ZF V3

What are your thoughts on the ZF V3 Pelagos? I’ve seen the bezel teeth are not the same as gen. But besides that would you consider the ZF a NWBIG?

Chicken or the Egg

I have a chicken or the egg question.
Do the TDs place orders to the factory and then the factory produces? Or does the factory continually produce and the TD waits for next batch?

Movement lubrication and waterproofing

Model: YachtMaster 126622 904L SS/SS D-Grey VSF VS3235

TD: Moderntimes

Is it worth getting the extra service of a the movement lubrication and waterproofing. I’ve heard both, that it’s just a “money grab” and that the TD doesn’t do anything. And that you also don’t want the TD to go into the movement in case anything gets messed up. But I’ve also heard that having extra lubrication is good for the rep as the factory doesn’t really add enough. The service is $25.

VSF Factory

I’ve been hearing the VSF factory got raided. Last Monday the TD told me it would take 6-10 days from the factory to get a YM VSF. Should I expect a lot longer than that now? And or should I just get a refund since it got raided.

Not sure on the exact date of the raid maybe it was after I talked to the TD.
