[Help] Hose gets stuck on Gaahleri Turbox Mini compressor after 1-2 turns. Missing adapter or defective thread?

[Help] Hose gets stuck on Gaahleri Turbox Mini compressor after 1-2 turns. Missing adapter or defective thread?

Hi everyone, this is my first airbrush setup and I'm running into an issue. I just got a Gaahleri Turbox Mini.

The air hose screws onto the airbrush gun perfectly fine on both ends. However, when I try to attach it to the compressor's air outlet, it goes on smoothly for about 1-2 turns and then gets completely stuck. I don't want to force it and strip the brass threads. Because it's not screwed on all the way, the air pressure leaks immediately.

Am I doing something wrong, am I missing an adapter, or could this be a defective/poorly machined thread on the compressor side? I attached a picture showing exactly how far it goes before seizing up. Any advice for a beginner would be greatly appreciated!

Edit:While I was away, my girlfriend fixed it. She just simply put it on and attached it, and it's been running smoothly ever since. The thread was probably just a bit burred, and I was afraid [to force it], but she wasn't.

Begginner trying to make a list

Hey guys!

I’ve almost finished painting my last grey Aeldari models, and I’m trying to figure out what I should buy next to round out my army.

Here is what I currently have:

Characters:

The Yncarne

Yvraine

The Visarch

1x Shadowseer

1x Death Jester

1x Kharseth to kitbash (currently an unbuilt model)

Units & Vehicles:

6x Harlequin Troupe

10x Striking Scorpions

10x Corsair Skyreavers

10x Corsair Voidscarred

10x Storm Guardians

5x Fire Dragons

5x Warp Spiders

1x Vyper

1x Wave Serpent

1x Wave Serpent / Falcon (Magnetized)

By my calculations, I'm getting close to 2000 points, but I’m not sure how to finish it up. I feel like the list needs a little something extra. I was thinking about these options:

Option A (More Harlequins): 1x Starweaver, 2x Skyweavers, and another 6x Harlequin Troupe.

Option B (Wraiths): A unit of Wraithguard and a Wraithlord.

Option C: Whatever you guys suggest!

I really want a balanced army for my first few games. If something in my current roster is unnecessary (like the Visarch), I’m perfectly fine leaving it out.Secondary Request (1000 pts):

I also need some help putting together a balanced 1000-point list from the models I already own for my very first games. I will be playing a lot against my friend’s Ultramarines, which is quite scary (he brings Dreadnoughts and Guilliman). Any tips on what to field and how to play against that would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance for the help!

Ynnari army building help — should I commit to Ynnari or pivot to another Aeldari direction?

Hi everyone!

I made a post recently about my Aeldari/Ynnari collection, and thanks to the advice I received, I now understand the main issue: my current units are cool individually, but they don’t really form a strong, synergistic core yet.

I’m trying to build towards a solid 2,000pt army, ideally for casual/semi-competitive games, and I’d like to avoid buying more models that just make the collection even more scattered.

At the moment I own the Ynnari trio — Yvraine, the Visarch and the Yncarne — plus some Harlequins, Corsairs, Striking Scorpions, Fire Dragons and a Vyper.

From this starting point, what would be the best direction to expand?

I’m especially wondering about transports like a Falcon, Wave Serpent or Starweaver, and whether units like Warp Spiders, Swooping Hawks, Rangers, War Walkers or Fire Prisms are reliable staples.

I’m also unsure whether the standard Aeldari Combat Patrol or the new Corsair Combat Patrol would actually help, or just pull me in another direction.

Finally, given the current state of Ynnari/Devoted of Ynnead, would you recommend committing to Ynnari, or would I be better off pivoting more towards Corsairs, Aspect Warriors, or another Aeldari detachment?

I’m not looking for a top tournament meta list, just a functional and enjoyable army with decent synergy.

Thanks again for the help!

New player looking to build a 2k Ynnari/Corsair list! What should I buy next

Hi everyone!

I'm completely new to the tabletop game. So far, I’ve only bought and painted models based strictly on the "Rule of Cool", but now I really want to put together a functional 2000-point army. My main interests are the **Ynnari** and the **Corsair** units.

I know that taking Yvraine as my Warlord means I can't field the Avatar of Khaine, but I have him in my collection just in case I want to run a standard Aeldari list later.

**Here is what I currently own:**

**Epic Heroes & Characters:**

* Yvraine

* The Visarch

* The Yncarne

* Prince Yriel

* Kharseth

* Death Jester

* Harlequin Shadowseer

* Avatar of Khaine

**Infantry & Jump Pack:**

* 10x Corsair Voidscarred

* 10x Corsair Skyreavers

* 6x Harlequin Troupe

* 10x Striking Scorpions

* 5x Fire Dragons

**Vehicles:**

* 1x Vyper

**My questions for the community:**

  1. What **Detachment** would you recommend for a Corsair/Ynnari heavy list?

  2. What should my **next purchases** be to reach a semi-competitive or fun 2000-point list? Should I look into transports (Wave Serpents/Falcons) or maybe some Drukhari units since Yvraine allows them?

  3. What are some fun **list ideas or synergies** with what I already have (like attaching Yvraine and the Visarch to the Voidscarred)?

  4. Has anyone tried running a Corsair/Ynnari focused list in the 11th edition (or with the latest updates)? How does it play?

Thanks in advance for any tips, strategies, or buying advice!
