While out for his off-leash run last night with his sister, my dear, sweet, special boy managed to literally run into and fall onto a porcupine. 303 quills later (a couple likely still in there) and he’s on the mend.

Today’s my boy Buck’s first birthday! I thought I knew what I was getting into by getting a second vizsla, and he has humbled me in every way he can 😂 Thanks to him I try hard every day to be a better dog mom and trainer!
Got this yesterday at Black Hatchett Tattoo in Wallingford, CT. I found the artist Lex (@thelexfiles_tattoos on IG) through the From North to Wharf’s instagram page’s tattoo Tuesday and knew she’d be the perfect artist to design this masterpiece!
I’m so excited I got to pick up my pottery wheel today! My pottery studio was replacing some wheels and was selling them refurbished for a fraction of the price of a new one! It’s a 45min drive for me to go to the studio so I plan on doing a “satellite” membership where I pay for firing and glazing; I do all the trimming and throwing at my own home! Once my she-shed is built she’ll be going in there as the start to my tiny pottery studio 🥳
