1 Year old only wants pureed food

Looking for some advice from people who have experience here. My wife and I's first and only is a little girl who will be 1 year old in a couple weeks.

We started introducing solid foods around 6 months and have slowly incorporated foods that have more texture or require chewing. At first, it seemed like she was excited to eat any type of food. She grabbed a french fry off grandpa's plate at the catholic church fish fry (it wasn't salted) and ate it no problem. She shovels her little yogurt melters into her mouth, and she also loved spaghetti and meatballs.

Lately, however, she basically won't eat anything with any texture to it. Even stuff she has eaten in the past. As soon as she feels that it's not smooth in her mouth she makes a face and starts trying to spit it out. Part of the problem may be that at daycare I think they offer her the solid food from the kitchen that day but if she gives them any resistance they just feed her a puree. I get it, they have a lot of babies to feed and can't spend all day dealing with her goofing off and throwing the food on the floor, etc.

My wife is afraid that if we give in and just give her purees she will have a hard time getting used to eating regular food in the future. I'm a bit worried she isn't getting all the nutrition she needs because she is drinking less and less of her formula and even flat out refusing to take any of her nightly bottle the last few nights (about 1/3 of her normal formula intake).

Any advice from people with experience here would be greatly appreciated.

Just saw an ad for this site that shows 44 getting it in on JJ4AJ against A5 and then it says that 44 won.

Not a good look for a site that already seems to be run by retards.
