Just snagged this estate lot of vintage 90s/00s PCs for $125, anything seem interesting?

Been getting into repairing and playing with vintage equipment, and came across this great lot. Payed a bit more than what I'd have liked, but I'd love to set up an "authentic" retro desk with all 90s equipment. Not expecting anything great and not trying to resell, but it'll be a few fun projects.

(Edit: do people even read these? Lol)

I pick it up in-person tomorrow, so I'll have updates if folk are interested!

Ghost gun company ordered to pay $104 million in Kentucky case, ‘largest in U.S. history’

“Nearly three years after 18-year-old Henry Willis killed himself after buying a ghost gun online, a Louisville jury awarded his mother more than $100 million in damages. The out-of-state seller Husky Armory LLC and its parent company Up North Media LLC didn’t respond to the lawsuit, show up for the trial or defend themselves.

It’s the largest dollar amount awarded by a jury against a gun dealer in the country, according to the lawyers in the case.

A judge issued a judgment against the gun sellers last year as they continued to ignore the lawsuit. The jury trial was held solely to determine what the companies owed Laura Herp, Willis’s mother, after her son killed himself days after buying and building a handgun he legally was not allowed to have.”

Just curious about what folks have to say about this here. Regardless of the implications, I think for the company to not even show up is insane and reflects poorly. My condolences to the mother and their family as well.

Two vet visits since Sunday, and my boy still isn’t eating, drinking, or using the restroom.

UPDATE POST VET #3: They ran more tests and are keeping him overnight for treatment, they narrowed down the cause to **pancreatitis** (though there could be underlying issues). I’ll make a new post when he’s home with what I learn! Apparently it’s pretty rare in cats and the cause is hardly ever found. Symptoms all line up exactly though, and recovering likely won’t be too bad.

Thank you to everyone who commented and gave recommendations, they were great even if it ended up being something unusual!

Hey you all, been a bit of a wreck this week. This is Pope Francis, he’s just over three and has never had health complications before.

I left him for about 24 hours and returned Sunday. He’d thrown up, stopped eating, and was very lethargic. Took him to an emergency vet that night for a quick look but they found nothing obvious, and his bladder wasn’t concerning. I have house plants, but nothing that would’ve caused this (which the vet reinforced).

He threw up again that night and the next morning, mostly small amounts of bile.

Monday, I took him to my normal vet. Blood work, urinalysis, and an x-ray showed nothing. He was dehydrated by this point, but his kidneys showed no issue. They could only point to gastroenteritis, and thought maybe fireworks on Saturday night scared and stressed him (it’s our first July 4th at this new place closer to downtown).

They gave him fluid and an anti-nausea pill. He immediately drank a little when we got back, but not much.

Yesterday, he seemed slightly better. Moved to different rooms throughout the day but still just sat around without eating. I keep trying to get some wet food tubes in him by putting it on his nose, but he won’t take much.

Just left for work a bit ago and he was still sitting and just kind of wandering occasionally. Thinking of doing another vet visit today.

At this point, I’ve spent around $900 on tests and treatments to find nothing. Hospitalization would be upwards of $1800 a night, and I unfortunately let my pet insurance lapse after 2+ years of never using it.

Just don’t know what to do now. He’s never had ANY health issues before, give him dry and wet food daily. Never goes outside and is up to date on everything. Any advice would be appreciated.

Had this Hoya for 2-3 years, but never saw significant growth until I placed it outside in the shade last summer. It essentially quadrupled in size since then, and now grows really well inside too.

The blooms are gorgeous, this pod just popped out today!
