Found this Trek 930 on CL for $75, gave it a few upgrades. Made in Wisconsin, Tru-temper OX frame. (Not 853 but close enough😂) Rides really nice, but I need to service the Marzocchi fork and also get rid of those clashing decals 😂
I've really enjoyed getting to know this camera. My only complaint so far is a fair amount of dust and gunk in the viewfinder. After this roll I will take the prism out and give it a good cleaning.
I put an LR44 battery in and the meter works, but apparently the 1.5 volts instead of 1.35 causes the meter to read the scene as brighter than it is, so I should compensate by changing the ISO? I tried 100 and 200 for the 400 film I have in now. The light meter app I downloaded on my phone gives me somewhat similar readings but I'm not sure how accurate that is.
Just wonder what the consensus is for anyone dealing with the battery/metering issue on the SRTs. Thanks in advance!!
