I thought I’d try Fan Your Flames again. It’s been sitting for a few months after my initial sprays as I didn’t love it.

And wow, it’s improved so much, the rum has become sweeter and blends far better with the coconut and woods.

Cracking open my new bottle of SWY Spices.

It’s a leathery and peppery twist on the Stronger With You DNA.

Will have to see how it develops over the day as to where it sits in the SWY hierarchy.

I’m wearing Mancera’s spin on the BR540 DNA. Very unisex, with spun sugar, jammy rose, booze and amber but still keeping the airy vibe. It’s one of my favourite Manceras.

I actually like it better than BR540 and Instant Crush.

Wearing a modern update of a 90s classic today.

CK Eternity was one of the first bottles I bought myself back in the 90s.

This EDP is a more aromatic and stronger twist on the original with added sweetness from apple. Very safe blind buy if you like green soapy freshies.

I’m planning to buy a full bottle after loving the sample of the new blend, but have the option of buying a pre-reformulated bottle.

Reached for my decant of this banger from Swiss Arabian.

It’s a quality blend of natural smelling fruits and vanilla that isn’t cloying.

On my skin it smells masculine but I believe some feel it leans feminine.

A recent blind buy from CityPerfume sales, it came with a sample of BDC Parfum and PDM Carlisle which was nice.

This is a sweet, spicy and powdery wood oud fragrance. With coffee coming through in the dry down.

Recently got a sample of Poka, thought I’d give it a try; the popcorn instantly stands out on opening and then apple pie starts coming through.

First impressions: this one is pretty special if you like gourmands.
