Dr.Brown silicone bottles?

Idk if these are new, but it’s the bottles with the silicone insert that collapses as your baby drinks.

I use the “regular” Dr.Brown bottles with the funnel like insert and that round bit you stick in the top.

Are the silicone bottles better than the regular ones? I have a baby that’s pretty gassy and doesn’t always burp. Even when he does, he often needs multiple burps and will need burps some time after finishing his bottle. I tend to burp him 2-3 times over the course of him having his bottle. He doesn’t burp every single time though.

If he doesn’t burp properly, then he has pretty dramatic spit up.

At times, He’ll also spit up a couple times after his bottle, even when time has passed. This is rare

This happens even if he’s upright for some time after his bottle.

If the silicone Dr.Brown bottles are better than the regular ones, I’d like get them

Bottle washer recommendations?

First, is it worth it? I pump 8x/day, every 3 hours.

I would need one that fits all my Spectra pump parts, plus a doctor brown bottle and its parts (bottle, nipple, the 2 parts of the insert, and white part for the nipple).

I thought about it some time ago, then decided I don’t need it. But now, sitting here while my pump and bottle parts soak and having to dry them after, I’m reconsidering.

Which ones would you all recommend if you have one, that will have the capacity I need?

Jjajang flavor?

The Jjajang flavor of the buldak noodles that comes in the neon green packaging is my favorite flavor, but I can’t find it anymore and even when I could find it, it was a rarity. Is it discontinued? If so, what other instant noodles have the most similar flavor and spice level? If it’s less spicy, that’s also fine.
I know there’s other Jjajang/black bean varieties of instant noodles, just trying to see if I can find one that’s very similar

Dropping a pump 12wpp and legendairy silicone collection cups?

Hello all, I’m currently 5 weeks pp. I’ll be returning to work in early July when I’m 12wpp. I currently pump 8x/day, 1,4,7,10 am and pm.

I work 12 hour shifts and have to be at work at 6am. Doing two pumps overnight won’t be feasible because I won’t get enough sleep. I woke up around 4:30am for work before maternity leave.

I’m thinking to drop the 1am pump when I return to work and then just wake up at 4am and pump and then go to work.

Would I be able to do that without hurting my supply? Or should I add in an extra pump during the day to make up for the one I’ll be dropping?

I’m also thinking of buying the legendairy silicone collection cups to use at work with my Baby Buddha. Can anyone tell me if they did this and their experiences?

Power pumping question

I’ve been thinking of power pumping to increase my supply. My baby is 5 weeks old and has about 4oz per feed, about 8 times a day. Sometimes maybe 9 feeds per day. I’m only producing about 70-80mL per pump session. I pump 8 times per day, every 3 hours for 20min

My question is, if I power pump, is it something I need to do throughout the entire time I’m exclusively pumping?

Pump giving out?

Hello! As I was pumping this morning, my spectra 1 seemed to give out. It was trying to work, but there was so suction. It did it once and I turned it off and on again and it was fine. Then again a few minutes later but then it started up again on its own after a few seconds and worked fine. This is the very first time this has happened.
For the record, the pump is a few years old. I used it with my first who is 5 years old now, and have been using it with my current baby for about 4 weeks now.

Any one have this happen to them or have an idea what may be happening? What I can do to fix it if I need to? I have the baby Buddha so if my spectra has reached its end, I have a back up, but I really hope not. I got really worried when it happened

Increase supply

Hello, all! I’m looking for ways to increase my supply. I exclusively pumped for my first kid but honestly I’m drawing a blank about all the things I did back then. He’s 5 now and I pumped maybe 8-9 months. Was able to build up a stash and keep him on just breast milk. Now, I’m under producing and want to increase my supply. My baby is just over 4 weeks old. I pump 8 times a day, for 20 minutes each session. Increasing the number of times I pump simply isn’t realistic, I can’t do it.

I want to start to power pump, which I also did last time.

But other than power pumping, what are other effective methods to increasing my supply?
