Cooking for a friend last night

Cheese, carbonara and 2x spicy with prawns, cream and corn.

Hot dog scored and fried. Soft boiled eggs, spring onions, sesame seeds, kewpie mayo, mozzarella and chilli oil on top.

It was incredible. Both of us have sore guts today hehe.

My fried buldak wrap!

So I made Buldak Rose, added an egg, some mozzarella and cheddar and rolled that bad boy up in a wrap, buttered the outside and threw it in the frying pan. Don't forget the buldak carbonara sauce mixed with Kewpie mayo!

8.5/10 I think it's missing some like mini hash brown bites or some sausage 🤔

Is it safe to eat buldak as a teen?

My son wants to eat buldak he’s craving it a lot recently but my wife tells him no because he’s going through puberty and buldak does some stuff bad with his hormones or whatever is that real or should I just try to stop him from eating any

Cheeseburger Buldak

I've made Buldak burger before, so I decided to flip it around and make burger Buldak.

Cheese Buldak with added cheddar, topped with fried minced beef and onion, burger sauce, and sliced gherkins.

Killing a Noodle Rut

I’m trying to shake myself out of a noodle rut and recently made some soupy shin ramen which is well outside my norm. It was great. So tonight, I made some Habanero Lime Buldak that had a little more broth and a little less stir-fry than my standard. I also experimented with sour cream in place of my usual kewpie mayo and mozzarella instead of a slice o’ American cheese. Results were excellent. I would 100% make this again. That doesn’t mean I prefer sour cream over kewpie and the mozz was fine but didn’t melt the way I hoped. But it is a nice change of pace.

Habanero Lime Buldak
Leftover flank steak
Dumplings
Garlic
Ginger
Sour cream
Soy sauce
Egg yolk
Fresh buffalo mozzarella (I make a lot of pizza and had extra)

Cheese Buldak Review

It was surprisingly Good , it wasn’t that hot. I only put half of the sauce on the noodles and dumped the entire powder in! It was Good the scent of the powder was refreshing but it’s disgusting if you hate cheese because it has a strong smell, 8/10 if you have a low spice tolerance tbh! Just don’t put the entire packet in!

Bringing these from out-of-state for me and my roommate

For some reason we can't find these locally (except cream carbonara like 3 months ago and then they were gone) so I'm excited to share when I get home. Wish I could find more cream carbonara since that's his favorite, but they were out of stock when I went back a second time.

FINALLYYYY

Target has been absolutely on a roll lately I’m overjoyed to announce that after months upon months of no local stores having quattro cheese, TARGET SELLS IT! And yes they got cream carbonara that’s cool as well but i just swiped my card for MULTIPLE packs of quattro so cream carbonara will have to wait until next time… but my (second) favorite flavor is easily accessible for me now!!!!

Different?

I usually grab the Carbonara or Rosé from Walmart. Wife grabbed these while at Kroger. Are they different? Or just a new package?

Less water for a stiffer noodle?

I love shin toomba with the stir fry option where are you only cook at about 3 and 1/2 minutes with the 300 mL of water but I just realized I could just stop the noodles at 2 minutes instead of three like I used to to get them even stiffer, does anybody do this to get a more firm noodle?

I had to have some bulldack carbonara dumplings too

I had a spiritual experience with the spiciness of the Carbonara package, I don't know how to prepare for the regular 1x spicy package

This morning I went to the local Asian supermarket in the city center, bought the Carbonara and the regular spicy Buldak.

Later, this late afternoon/early evening, I was getting hungry and started to cook the Carbonara one: I thought "hey, it's been years I haven't tried Buldak, let's start gentle with the Carbonara".

I cooked the noodles, put the entire sauce and the powder, mixed and tasted. At the first bite, I thought "uhm, spicy but can handle it" then the more I was eating, the more it was too hard for me.

Thankfully, I had some liquid heavy cream in my fridge and mixed half of the cream within the noodles bowl. I finished my noodles, it was okay but then gulped/drank the rest of the cream. I NEVER drank cream.

I feel like a rookie.... I thought I could tolerate spicy stuff... I usually order spicy sauces, spicy food outside, sriracha is not spicy at all, etc... But Buldak??? Damn, that's on another level.

I don't know how you guys do? If that was my experience with Carbonara, I am scared to try the 1x regular spicy package...

Late lunch! Buldak ramen rosé cup. Added some grated mozzarella and left a little bit of the boiled water in. Better than expected, only the quantity was disappointing. I want more!
