i’m overwhelmed, i’m tired and probably not thinking right. i also feel guilty because i know people go through so much worse and remain strong but im struggling. my fiance got his wisdom teeth removed Saturday. he’s been having some pretty severe complications, and we have been in the hospital for two days straight. we got home a few hours ago and learned we will probably be returning to the ER tonight. hes in a lot of pain, im stressed and worried. not to mention we haven’t been giving our 1 year old daughter the attention she needs and deserves and i feel so bad about it. i know there’s nothing i can do but hope for the best, and pray. he’s not in any immediate danger but it’s still scary, and so hard. we don’t have clear answers on how long this recovery will take and he has already been out of work for a while, we can’t afford him needing to take more time off. i’m scared, he’s scared and hurting. please just take a minute to pray for us! we also have a little one and our sitter can’t come back again tonight. i’m gonna have to decide to have him go alone (he can’t talk right now) or take our child into the ER all night tonight. i’m just worried.
8.5/10. and as Rosé lover (rosé, carbonara and now this one are the only ones i’ve had) this one definitely comes in second! i love the sweetness. i only added a bit of mayo because it’s all i had and it was perfect. i seen a lot of people hating on it but if you enjoy the buldak for the flavors and not just the spice you may enjoy this one! the smell REALLY threw me off but once i made it i ate it so quick lol. i really enjoyed this one! (don’t bash me in the comments i plan on trying more flavors when my budget allows me to!!!)
posting a small win, after being homeless for a few years we moved into supportive housing a little over 3 years ago. we were happy doing laundry in the communal laundry room offered here because at least we were able to do it. there were lots of rules, they only opened between certain hours and your clothes randomly would get locked in by other residents. ultimately no one followed the rules so people always washed the grossest stuff and never took care of the washers + people always messed with your stuff. we really had no other choice but were still grateful . welllll, our apartment complex suddenly decided to buy washers & dryers for the family units and ours got installed today!!!! i’m SO excited. i have a 1.5 year old and the laundry is NO JOKE
i was intrigued by the Reed mausoleum when visiting my mother in law today so we stopped to check it out (it’s absolutely beautiful by the way, see second photo for reference) and came across the grave directly behind the mausoleum which belongs to baby Fisher and reads 1934. does anyone have any info on the baby? im just insanely curious! i left a coin to pay my respects, i think its sweet that everyone has been leaving things. seeing this grave as a momma to a small girl, it made me really sad to think about. i would love to learn more. (please stop downvoting me im just curious😭😭😭)
the bottom photo was the first day i found out i was going to be needing long term braces. i was brushing once a day, and flossing whenever i thought about it. now i’m brushing twice, avoiding sweet drinks/anything that can stain my teeth and flossing after dinner. the difference is wild to me lol. there’s a month and a half difference between these photos! i get full mouth braces to decomp my bite for double jaw surgery next month. i’m excited about finally having a reason to take care of my teeth (i know i always should have been, it’s just always been hard for me for some reason) i figured i would share here since i don’t know where else i could share this. it’s pretty exciting to see
rate my buldak bowl?
the bowl i posted earlier was from a few days ago. this is tonight’s bowl!
there’s fajita chicken in there, peas and carrots, mayo, mexican blend cheese and egg.
i already had a pack the day before this and used the full spice packet- which upset my stomach. so this time around i used 1/3 of the packet because i was craving it sooo bad but didn’t want the pain (sensitive stomach problems)
anyways i used egg yolk, mayo, sharp cheddar, ofc the packets and a dash of the boiled noodle water. mix that all together before mixing with the noodles and stir frying for a minute. this time i used medium rare steak, carrots and the egg whites from my sauce. i wish i had green onion and was able to use the full sauce packet. it was still pretty good!
i went in for an OCD and autism assessment after coming to that conclusion with my therapist after many years of self reflection. i was told basically im too traumatized to be able to diagnose anything other than CPTSD and unspecified anxiety disorder, they recommended to get some trauma based help and get another evaluation after if symptoms still persist. i’m not disappointed in the results im just shocked that she said everything ive been experiencing could be CPTSD mimicking OCD and autism. i just wanted to vent because that was a wild process.
sorry i have to keep reposting this i accidentally put my orthodontist whole name in the photos and i dont feel comfortable sharing that. third time is a charm! i know this is a long read please bare with me! i’m hoping someone can give me some advice based on their experience or just in general. with updated photos- i have a crossbite and overjet, my ortho strongly pushed for me to get jaw surgery, she gave me a referral to see a surgeon and just get a feel for it. i went and got the consultation and the surgeon says they aren’t typically operating on bites like mine, that people can live their whole life’s with a bite like mine and not care or notice but he definitely thinks i’d benefit from the surgery in the long run & immediately, especially because of all the issues i’ve mentioned to them. my issues aren’t anything to do with pain really, just discomfort more than anything. biting my cheeks, struggling to talk, only chewing on one side of my mouth because i have a hard time chewing, snoring. they told me the risks and the benefits and told me if i chose this route they would tell me more on what it will look like then. he did tell me the problems being fixed would not just be practical fixes for my bite but also cosmetic. he pointed out a few things i’ve noticed over the years and said they can fix those issues. example: my mouth curves in this downward position that gives me a toothless just removed my dentures look when i am resting my mouth. i am only 20 and they said this is something i could not have prevented with early ortho care because my bottom jaw grew too far out after puberty. i guess my question is would double jaw surger be worth it? my orthodontist did give me another less invasive option but she said it is not stable long term which would be braces and trying to get my bite into a “better” position. but that it may not work for very long since it’s a skeletal issue. i know my orthodontist & surgeon probably know best but im still pretty worried that i’m making the wrong choice and will regret it. i turn 21 soon which is the cutoff for braces insurance so i have to make my choice as soon as possible preferably which is just making the decision making a bit harder. either way ill still need braces for a while, i just need to make up my mind so i can get the process started.

this is my second copper iud, the first one expelled because i was freshly postpartum. i’ve been having no issues with this one. we do pullout and use the iud as backup option so im not too worried about actually getting pregnant im just scared that something is wrong with the IUD again. i was feeling my strings and noticed a pretty noticeable lump on my cervix away from the opening. my strings are still there and they feel pretty normal to me.. maybe a tad bit shorter i’m not sure it’s been a while since i’ve checked them i honestly forgot about it. what i’m wondering is when my IUD expelled the first time i felt hard plastic coming through the opening of my cervix. could this be my iud lodged sideways in my cervix or something completely unrelated to the birth control? i went to an urgent care and they told me that it’s most likely not my iud because my strings look great. but i’m still waiting for an appointment with my doctor (who’s on maternity leave) so i’m still really worried! what could this be?
he’s horrified, chirping out for his mother. i tried getting him to come to me by playing duck calling sounds and he stuck around me for a while but would not get close enough to let me swoop him up in my net. he’s small, and frightened. i know bass are in here so am i supposed to just let him be knowing he’s gonna die by the end of the night? there no ducks or any birds near by today. we are at the main lake. is there someone i can call? the number google gave me just went straight to voicemail…
