Someone from HR randomly showed up during my shift

I was working 9-5 yesterday. There was not alot to do, I did a bay packdown, cleaned some grills, and watered the herbs and vegetables all while running around and helping customers. While i was preparing the hose to water the veggies and herbs a woman in a home depot apron appeared out of nowhere and introduced herself saying she was from HR, she struck up a conversation with me, asked how long I've been working there, told her a little over a week, she told me that after i complete 90 days i get a pin and she asked if she could take a picture of me watering the veggies, I said sure and she showed me that she sent it to her boss, she also asked which veggies were the most bought and then she told me good job and walked away, all the while she had that typical HR smile lol, is it common for HR people to show up like that?

I need suggestions

What should I be doing? I was hired as a part-time garden associate and yesterday was a week since I started, I don't plan on calling out anytime soon and I did let my ASDS know before I started working that their were days i couldn't come in and they were able to implement those off days into my schedule. I know during orientation they said they will decide to keep me or not by mid-July as long as I don't call out and do a great job but when would be the best time into seeing about cross training in other departments? Should I just wait until a decision is made to bring it up? I am liking this job so far and its my first job i got on my own without any help since my other jobs were with help of the schools I attended.

Got the Garden Associate position!

Hey guys! Tomorrow will be a week since I started working on the floor as a Garden associate and so far I have no complaints, been mainly watering plants, helping customers with questions and loading. Management and coworkers have been very polite and friendly as been customers which could potentially change. Is there any tips anyone can give me? Any is greatly appreciated!

Mom got a reduction to her food stamps case

Hi y'all!

My mom and sister who turned 18 in February had been receiving $546 a month but my sister moved out of state with my dad very recently and during the redetermination process told her case manager that my sister no longer lived with her and my mom cannot work due to health issues, congestive heart failure and end-stage chronic kidney disease, so she was told she would be exempt from work. She got a letter yesterday explaining she got a reduction to $24 a month due to my sister working when she told them she moved from Illinois to Missouri very recently and she is not helping my mom financially at all. I already help my mom pay her rent, and phone bill and can barely afford groceries as is since I am working part-time, waiting to go to college in the fall, and saving to pay taxes next year. My mom was not given any instructions about proving anything like my sister moving or her medical issues and she is currently waiting on updates from SSA to see if she can receive SSI. She called her case manager today and is waiting on her to call back, what else can be done?

As we know, Sweet was supposed to be killed in the infamous Green Sabre Drive-by scene but they started shooting at the family home accidently killing their mom in the deed which makes no sense since Big Smoke knew where Sweet lived so ehy didn't they wait to shoot until they got to his home?

That's not my main question though, as we know during the Green Sabre mission, we find out Big Smoke betrayed us and that the gang was walking into a trap, by the time we arrive Sweet was gravely injured, and then they're both arrested, why didn't Tenpenny have Sweet killed on the way to the hospital or have him driven out somewhere else and killed him? They could've told the Johnsons he died en route to the hospital, i get Tenpenny wanted to use him as leverage against CJ to continue the dirty work but it backfired on them since Toreno was able to take custody of him and protect him, they knew Toreno was way more powerful and would actually hit them where it hurts the most.

Hey y'all! I applied to go to Arrupe College back on February 20th and completed my checklist including attending the meet and greet, also did a tour of the college on April 24th. After the visit I checked my checklist and there was an "Interview received" or completed with a green check mark next to it. I just checked again early this evening and noticed it was gone from the checklist, why did it disappear? Grok says its a step in the application process and its not a bad thing but does anyone know what it actually means?

What do y'all think will happen if the courts give the city permission to shut down Ford City mall? What will happen to #79, 67, 54B, and 53?

Honestly I think, 53 and 67 will terminate at Dailey College or the plaza across the street from campus since CCC has given the cta permission to have the 53 terminate on their property before they announced FCM as their terminal.

I feel 79 will terminate at the Scottsdale Shopping Center on 79th/Cicero.

As for 54B I feel the CTA could take the opportunity of implementing the change to the 54/54B route maybe expanding 54 south from 24th/Cicero to Midway Orange line and 54B could terminate at Midway Orange Line and extend it further south to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn IL as a possible terminal.

I've recently started to notice alot of busses being left on the side of the streets with their signs turned off and doors wide open, why is that? Usually busses are empty and the drivers are gone.

I was reading comments in a subreddit about western bus service in Beverly/Morgan Park and how its difficult to get around on public transit and this got me busy doing research on the Western Avenue bus corridor.

Here's some history, in the 1930s, the CTA used to have a streetcar service that was numbered "10" that served Western Avenue from Howard Street on the Northside to 79th St on the southside, however in 1931, it was extended south to 111th Street in Morgan Park. In 1948, the CTA started to add busses and Western Ave corridor was split into streetcars and busses with the 10 becoming 49 and the 49A was added into service. The 49 remained as a streetcar serving from Berwyn to 79th Street and the 49A became bus service from 79th street to 119th with some reports saying the 49A running as far south as 135th/Western in later service.

In 1956, the 49 was converted into a bus service and in 2012 the 49A was discontinued due to low ridership and the fact that part of the southern route had been given to the Pace suburban bus route 349. Should the 49A be bought back though? I feel the 49 and 49A could meet at the Western Orange Line station and could run together south to 79th where the 49A could continue south to 119th St similar to how the 53/53A run together from the Pulaski Orange line to 76th St.
