How do you call out?

I'll delete this once it's answered because it's probably a silly question, but I'm new (not planning on calling out at all or anything) and was never told, do you call the store? Are you supposed to do it on the ukg app (which I was also never shown)?

(SC) Can someone explain to me what I'm looking for?

I just moved into my apartment a month ago, went to leave this morning and found this note on my door.

I have no clue what in the world they are referring to.

Added a photo of my back porch as well.

Ukg to check schedule

Which ukg app do I use to check my schedule and how do you login?

Thought it was the ukg pro app but I'm not really sure what I'm doing.

Pay period

Hey guys, I start tomorrow (Wednesday, myrtle beach area) and was wondering what the pay period is?

Just trying to calculate my first check, I did see payday is every Thursday but completely forgot to ask about pay period.

Dairy dept

So I applied for full time produce but during my interview today they informed me that the spot was filled, however they offered me the full time dairy position on the spot and I accepted.

I've worked in produce before but never dairy, so I'm just wondering if anyone has insight on what I can really expect going into the role, what I'll be doing and stuff?

They mentioned that you handle ordering and inventory and stuff, I'm sure that's not hard to learn but I've also never had to do that before.

They also used some terms like reclaimed and things like that but it was kinda a quick brief and I'd rather go in with learning as much as I can beforehand this way I'm just better prepared.

It's a really small volume store as well, I believe I'll be the only associate in the dept.

Why even have automated interview systems?

Was supposed to have an interview today, showed up at the club and was told they don't do interviews tuesdays, who set me up for that and I said no one I did it after getting an email to set it up...

Was told I'm supposed to wait for a phone call if selected, they don't go by the automatic system for interviews.

Why have that? Also I set this up two weeks ago, could no one reach out to inform me of that?

Edit: just want to add that Tuesdays were the only available timeframe to set it up via the email link, so Tuesdays they don't do interviews but ironically it was the only available time slots.

Hey everyone, I just recently moved to a whole new state (South Carolina from upstate New York) and I've been applying at jobs and a part time position came up here at Sam's for a personal shopper ($18 an hour) and I applied and just got an email to set up an interview.

My background is all retail, 13 years experience with my latest job actually working at Lowe's for 6 years in the paint dept (though realistically working at Lowe's you kinda get thrown everywhere)

My questions are basically what's it like working at Sam's (in general and as a personal shopper) and what's the interview like?

Lowe's changed their interview policy a few years ago and just asks you three basic questions now.

I'm also wondering how the drug test policy works here (if there even is one for this position, I can't imagine there isn't) because Lowe's makes it simple and it's a mouth swab.

Any other insights or tips are also welcome, thanks.
