I’ve just chosen my hotel for a solo trip as Blake hotel at 500 St Charles Ave.

I’ll be arriving thurs late afternoon
Tips on getting from airport? Any hacks or just lyft?
Fri,sat,sun il be at skankfest (comedy festival) all day at Mardi Gras World. Prob will walk in morning. Advice to get taxi in evening? Is it safe to walk?

I then have a whole day monday and morning tuesday.
What do i HAVE to do or see?

Want to maximise my time!

ALSO im from europe, do i need like singles in my pocket? does everywhere take card? What should i tip and what doesn’t need tipping? (bar staff/servers/Taxi drivers/hotel staff/etc??)

Ive had it a week & Im having trouble with it detecting my carpet in my bedroom. At store they said it will pick it up when it scans BUT it wont even go on to it. Can anyone help? I can put it in myself BUT i put it a little too over to one side and it mopped it

What time did everyone get to the store in order to not have to queue as long inside?

Hej I’m solo traveling from Sweden, Europe and coming for skankfest at mardis gras world in November.

I’m looking at hotels near by. Found some in like what i guess is the east warehouse district. So a 20min walk to both the venue and the French quarter which sounds good as wanna save on ride share spps. It looks like a safe area?!

Any advice, tips for a solo traveler coming from Europe. What ride app is best, anywhere decent to play MTG, tips to get cheap nba tix, what’s ya local tax on stuff (we don’t wait to pay to find out total of goods here) what’s tipping like in Nola, do i say nola?
