On sale at 10am, sold out at 10am 😔
Hi everyone. Would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on the process.
Parents aren’t legally separated but have been living apart for years. It’s all very amicable.
Mother now lives in the family home. Said home was built in the early 80s without a mortgage. The house is being transferred solely into my mother’s name. Will she have to pay stamp duty or capital acquisitions tax? I’m just trying to estimate what this is going to cost my parents in legal fees and taxes.
Thanks for any help.
Just to add, I dont think her name ever featured on anything back in the day.
EDIT to add, they are still legally married.
