Why does Gaby never confront Victor about what she overheard at the wedding?

Rewatching S4 and this is still bugging me. When she tells Victor she’s leaving him she gives him the “you’re never around” speech but she heard him at the wedding say he basically married her for the Latino vote. Why not just…say that?

Looking for hope – 12 years of ME/CFS from EBV

I‘m trying to ease off the r/cfs sub because as some of you have mentioned it‘s very negative and keeps me stuck in a spiral.

At the same time I have difficulties relating to posts in this channel because it seems like a lot of the people in here had Long Covid and have been sick maybe up to 3-4 years. And this should not at all minimize their ilness!!! CFS is horrible in every form!
It‘s just that I keep telling myself that what I have is not the same and therefore I won‘t be able to heal.

But I’m also sick of being stuck in this negative and hopeless thinking pattern. I’m almost certain that my way of thinking is also affecting the illness since I am always trying to be in control and always scanning for symptoms looking things up, trying to find quick fixes, etc.. I also know that my mind is constantly trying to find reasons to not believe in recovery.

I keep oscillating between trying to find hope and falling back into doubt because “my case is different than these recovery stories blablabla“

Can anyone relate to this and do you have any tips for me to feel inspired and keep the doubt away?

One arm weak/achy from any activity

I’m mild. Lately it’s my right arm specifically that’s the problem, achy and weak just from normal use, not from overdoing it by any unusual amount. Rest of my body feels okay. Been going on about two weeks and hasn’t eased with rest.

It makes anything needing two arms almost impossible, and since I live alone that’s been really hard. I’ve had ME/CFS for 10 years and never had this particular symptom before, so I’m pretty confused by it.

Has anyone else gotten this kind of one sided, one limb thing, basically PEM but concentrated in one arm rather than whole body? If so:

- Any tips that actually soothe it, heat, specific rest positions, anything?

- How long did it last for you when this happened?

Mainly looking for what’s worked for other people. Thank you!
