Love as the foundation of the Universe

Can someone who’s experienced a near death experience, tell me how they experienced love as the foundation of the universe? Is it more real than evil, and is everyone (even the biggest monsters) part of this love? Is it something everyone can access whenever they want?

Thanks in advance.

Questions about love as the foundation of the Universe .

I’ve been suffering from anxiety and ocd since my childhood. This ocd and the intrusive thoughts/obsessions that come with it, causes me to live with intense anxiety and depression most of the time. I’m in therapy now and it’s been working, so I’m hopeful.

Reading about near death experiences brings me a lot of reassurance and comfort. It makes me feel like that under all of these dark and distressing thoughts, there is a base layer of love that is more real and more important than all the things I’m stressing about. And yet, I can’t seem to understand why evil exists, and why bad things keep happening even though love is supposed to be the language of the universe.

Can someone who’s experienced a near death experience, tell me how they experienced this love as the foundation of the universe? Is it more real than evil, and is everyone (even the biggest monsters) part of this love? Is it something everyone can access whenever they want?

Thanks in advance.

▲ 61 r/OCD

Hi everyone, just wanted to get something off my chest and ask if anyone can relate.

When I’m deep into an ocd spiral, it feels like I’m in a whole other reality. My life revolves around the theme I’m struggling with, and the world falls away. Everything makes me think of the theme. When I was in high school I struggled with bad ocd too, but my mind was occupied most of the time and I had a lot of distraction. OCD spirals didn’t feel all consuming. After high school I took a gap year, in which I suffered from existential ocd. This was the first time the anxiety was so bad, and it caused chronic dp/dr. Since then my spirals have been really bad and I’m unable to enjoy anything. Currently I’m struggling with pocd and it’s been absolute hell.

I have moments when I’m not thinking and life feels kinda normal again, and then I start thinking/ruminating and it feels like I’m in some hellish world where my biggest fears are true. And this often happens when I’m alone with no one to distract me from my inner world. Can anyone relate?

Ex: last night I read the news about the singer D4VD, and it triggered me so bad, that I was literally almost 99% convinced that I was some person capable of doing stuff like that. This spiral lasted half a day. It’s so mind baffling to me that OCD can feel so real and convincing. Rationally you know you aren’t that kind of person, but the fear is so big that it literally feels like you could be. And then after the spiral, you’re back in the real world and you ask yourself; how did I ever worry about that? Maybe it’s also my mind trying to make sense of all this evil shit happening in the world. It’s absolute hell!
