I have a few stains in my woolen sweater. They have been there for a while, I have no idea what caused them (maybe during cooking?), and I’ve been too afraid to remove them so I haven’t tried anything yet. I don’t want it to felt, this yarn felts quickly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle this? I think they are grease stains but I’m not sure.

It’s the storm sweater by petiteknit, made with drops Lima in the color goldenrod.
