AP Royal Oak Chrono

AP Royal Oak Chrono

Thank you Chronos Collective for another banger! Nice quality DDF right here. My second purchase but won’t be my last. Joins my Rolex Daytona 126509 so now I’m definitely good on chronographs! Next piece is probably a Rolex GMT, OP Tiffany, or Patek Aquanaut. It’s hard to choose! My wallet needs a little break though LOL!

Rep Service in Charlotte, NC?

Anyone know a watchsmith in CLT (or at least in the Carolinas) that will service reps? Hoping to find someone local who is recommended by the community.

Daytona Baby LeMans!

Smooth transaction! Watch arrived well packaged and in great shape, but man I had no idea there were so many plastic stickers to unpeel! Very impressed with the quality of this VSF (gain weight). Bracelet is smooth and better than I expected. Clasp is probably the weak point if I had to pick something but it seems sturdy, just not as smooth as my Gen Datejust. Crystal is very clear, don’t see the need for a Deep upgrade or any other mods really. Highly recommend Ryan at Chronos and I will be doing business with him again soon!

I have 2 Honeys in a 75P (40 gallon) HEAVILY planted community tank which has been running since late January (3 months). The male appears to have some white discoloration spots on his mid-body but is acting normal and eating. The female has been laying mostly vertically wedged between plants and acting lethargic for the past few hours (since I got home from work), although she ate tonight and I’ve seen her swim around the tank a bit. She also appears to be white on her back/lower half. I have not introduced any new livestock to the tank for quite some time. I have added and rearranged some plants within the past couple weeks but nothing major. Parameters are stable and normal for my tank and I change water weekly. I did a 40% water change tonight just to be safe. I have rummynose tetras in there and they are a super sensitive fish but are all acting fine with bright red noses (a good “tell” for stable/healthy water parameters). Other livestock are also acting normal (platys, ember tetras, corys, otos, amanos, snails). I do run CO2 but I’m not noticing heavy breathing or gasping at the surface by anyone, and I turned it down a touch tonight as a precaution.

Any ideas what’s up? Should I attempt to medicate? I don’t have a quarantine tank but could set one up tomorrow.

Just received a GMT Coke from Amazon. The GMT hand turns and adjusts when setting, but is not keeping time accurately (i.e., I set it to be 2 hours behind my current time zone, and a couple hours later, it’s several hours off). Any tips on how to fix or reset this? I assume the GMT function is supposed to work properly on a NH34 movement. Thanks!

110 days into my 75P nature aquarium. Moved past the staghorn algae phase about 2 weeks ago. I was worried I wouldn’t, but turning down the blue and green spectrum on my Chihiros really helped! I dosed some Excel too for a few weeks but its effects were minimal. Adding floaters helped a lot too I think. All plants are healthy and growing, although the grassy carpet is not growing in and spreading quite like I thought it would (it is, but growth is not crazy). I have to trim leaves off the lily weekly. Same with the rotala in the back left corner. Overall I’m very happy with it and I get lots of compliments. Stocking is 2 honey gourami, 10 rumnynose tetra, 6 female platys, 6 or 7 ember tetras, 6 corys, 6 otos, 6 amano shrimp, 2 guppies. Platys and guppies are transplants from my very first 10 gallon tank. Harmonious! I also have a 16 gallon that I am setting up next for a traditional Iwagumi style with hakkai stone and monte carlo. Pics of that to follow in the coming weeks!
