Anxiety and new NF

I started with a new NF on Monday and their 2 year old is a lot.

For context: I already have really bad anxiety, I always have, but in the last several months it’s gotten significantly worse. I even had to quit my job in healthcare because I was struggling so much.

Fast-forward to now, I started nannying, as I thought it would be easier than healthcare.

The NK is 2 yo, and she is quite spoiled. She always wants to watch her show on the TV and when you tell her no, she absolutely loses it. (No I do not let her watch tv) In the past week, I have been spit on, kicked, hit, had toys thrown at my head, and screamed at.

She needs to nap everyday but it is always a hassle. She spits and screams every single time. Today she was throwing a tantrum and fell asleep in some random spot in the house.

After her nap she still wasn’t much better. She didn’t want to listen, kept yelling no, etc.

(Yes this has all been told to the parents)

I don’t know what to do. My anxiety is already so bad and dealing with a 2 year old all day is not helping. She doesn’t listen.

Should I stick it out? Cut my losses? Help.

Changing Struggles

I have a 2 year old that will not let me change her. Yesterday she 💩 and when I went to change her she absolutely lost it. Kicking, screaming, just lost it. Her mom came in and changed her, as she was working from home for a few hours yesterday, but she’s not there most of the days.

Trying to figure out how I can get her to let me change her? Any ideas?

Laptop for Gaming

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, so if not, please delete.

I want to buy the new Paralives game but my current Lenovo laptop has horrible specs. It was a whopping $150. It can run sims but not very well.

I’m trying to figure out what kind of laptop I should buy to run Paralives, Sims, and some other cozy PC games.

Thanks!

I’ve been having a really hard time working with my provider at my job.

She is consistently passive-aggressive, and it’s gotten to the point where I feel like I’m constantly second-guessing myself and walking on eggshells around her.

I do a lot in my role and put in a lot of effort, but recognition tends to go to get other MA, sometimes in ways that feel intentional or passive aggressive rather than fair or consistent. She will make comments about how great the other MA is at least once a day. It’s started to wear down my confidence even though I know I’m good at what I do.

She is known for not being overly nice to her MA’s. Her last 3 have been ran off because of the way she treated them. There have been times where she is yelling and that alone is just inappropriate behavior.

My boss is well aware that she acts like this.

I sent her a giant email this morning because I didn’t want to go to work due to my provider and the way that she treats me. But my boss has yet to say a word about it.

I’m at a loss here. What should I do?
