Crane mountain is not for the weak.

Hiked up crane mountain the other day with a 35lb backpack and oh man am I out of shape. That .5 mile incline almost took me out. After doing practically no excerise since fall i had no idea what i was getting into but I did it, caught some nice trout up there and camped out which was beautiful. Happy I did it but not sure if ill ever do that again with all that gear. Guess I should take the "steep" warning a little more serious.

Hello everyone, im sorry ive been posting a lot about Pharaoh lake wilderness lately I just want to be as prepared for my trip next month as I can be. So should I bring a bear canister or will hanging a bag suffice? Id prefer the bag because its lighter, im just nervous about being able to find good trees to hang it from. Also I plan on bringing a non-freestanding tent but saw someone else mention the ground is very rocky, should I consider buying freestanding tent?

Does anyone else have issues with Amazon shipping. So far the z flick poles i ordered were 3 days late and now my kakwa 55 just says unknown status and is a day late, which i really needed for tomorrow. Sorry, more of a vent than anything.
