I don’t have a passion for my work anymore
I’ve been working in industrial maintenance for 3 years and I’ve lost the passion for my job. All my life I’ve loved learning how things work and being able to take it apart and put back together again so when I graduated Highschool I choose maintenance as a field where I could do what I love. I went to school for maintenance and I flew through it. I loved learning about it but then I got a job doing it. At first I loved it, I got to work on machines and fabricate different things for projects but over the years I’ve become the catch all for every problem in the factory. My boss is very frustrating to work with or even talk to. Every thing is always my fault and I’m expected to solve every problem for everyone instantly. Anymore I don’t care about a single thing in that building. I don’t care how things work or if they ever will work. I’ve been throw under more busses than I can count and I was lied to about my pay since the beginning. I ignored the red flag of everyone leaving or quiet quitting and I think that I’ve lost the love of my trade
