Chromecast no longer recognized by Google Home

UPDATE-- Side loaded an APK of a May version of the Home app. Everything is working as it should now. 👍

‐‐--‐------------------------------------------------

I have been a user since the beginning.

Updated my home internet...and therefore reset my chromecasts.

Google home asks for QR code. 😑 I managed to find one by going to the Chromecast SSID network on my phone.

Google didnt recognize the QR

Ok...connect a different way. Select the device. Not recognized. But i can SEE it on my network. And my husband's older version of Google Home recognizes it....

Am I screwed?

PRK post IOL ...thoughts?

Had Puresee iols put in both eyes last yr. For vision correction, no cataracts. Overall, not bad. No night halos, better than 20/20 for distance. However I have not been able to read at my computer for work and have needed cheater glasses. 🥴 Not ideal as this causes headaches and eye strain. Surgen says this can be corrected with PRK on my left eye only. Anyone had this done? Did you lose distance vision? How long until you could actually see? I can only take 5 days off this time. And recovery? Last summer I couldnt be outside the whole summer because the sun was just too much. Is that going to happen again? The office assistants all say the same things 'MOST ppl are fine and go back to work in 3-5 days' But I do not believe them because I was off for several wks from the iol surgery. 😭 Advice and experience welcomed 🙏
