Is a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) required at the VFS appointment for a Germany student visa?

Hi everyone,

I'm applying for a Germany student visa from India and have my VFS appointment on 07-07-2026

I'm a bit confused about the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Is it mandatory to carry the original PCC to the VFS appointment, or is it only required if the embassy specifically asks for it later?

If you've recently submitted your Germany student visa application through VFS, could you please share your experience? Was your PCC checked or collected at the VFS center?

I'd really appreciate any recent information. Thanks in advance!

Can't Book Appointment at Delhi VFS centre

Hii everyone,

I am trying from the last week to book my appointment at New Delhi VFS center for my masters study visa in Germany. Unfortunately it is so frustrating and I also banned myself from VFS website by two different account.I have following queries ,

Is there any way or trick to book appointment easily,like special day or timings?
Can I book at different appointment centre like my nearby centre is new delhi VFS but can I book Bengaluru or Mumbai?
