My first Chrome extension. I got tired of sketchy downloader sites, so I built my own.

Grabbit puts a ⬇ button on posts and videos across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Threads. One click, saved to your Downloads in original quality. No watermarks, no sign-ups, everything runs locally in your browser.

Features:

- Instagram posts, reels, stories & full carousels

- Bulk profile downloads

- Custom subfolder + optional Save-As dialog

- Original quality, never re-encoded

It's open source (MIT): https://github.com/mikevillarroel/grabbit

The Chrome Web Store listing is under review, so for now it's load-unpacked from the repo. Screenshots are up on the GitHub page.

Happy to answer questions or take feature requests.

Built an iOS app that converts any video on your iPhone into an animated `.tendies` wallpaper, ready to flash with AirCard.

Unsigned IPA is on the releases page — sign it with your own cert via AltStore, SideStore, or whatever you use.

No dependencies, pure Swift + SwiftUI, just AVFoundation and CoreImage.

Enjoy!
