Hi All

I am in working as an senior freelance IT specialist for almost 4 years now with overall exp of 13 years. Since I have started working as freelancer I always get pay 95-100 eur/hr.

Currently I am working in a project where i get 100 eur/hr. This contract is via a staffing agency. I got another offer where I am perfect fit , doing the same thing as current project (also through an staffing agency). here also the client won't go above 102eur/hr. In all of the projects english is the ONLY language.

So my questions are as follows:

• Is getting higher rate is even possible in Dutch market working in IT?
• I can see that clients are happily paying around 145 eur/hr when people are from a tech specialist company. But the same client won't pay me more then 100 eur/hr for the same skill set. Why is that?
• What are the skills required to get the rates of these tech specialist company? (Maybe renegotiation during contract renewal? this is one of the silly solution i can think of)
