Hey everyone, I’m in the process of compiling all my documents to send the LA consulate for a student visa.

In the lists of requirements on the site for LA, it only says the Birth Certificate needs to be apostiled and originals must be shown once in Brazil. I’m seeing others on here say that the fbi background check needs to be apostiled as well? But it doesn’t say that on the site and I honestly don’t have time to send it out before my flight.

So how mandatory is it for that because I’m following the requirements list to the letter— which also doesn’t include insurance which I’m seeing said on here and do not have… I’m nervous will my application be denied for this

I got my X4 in the mail today and flashed crosspoint. I then used the calibre plug-in to transfer epubs over, all says successful on calibre but on my device only some show up.
Another thing, when I go into browse files— I only see authors as folders, ideally I’d see titles first.
Has this happened to anyone else and found a solution?

I have long term malabsoprtion if not supplementing, bloating, early satiety, silent reflux, no appetite, chronic burping, and other sequela.

In 2023 I had a GI map that should H. Pylori but no virulence factors, my ND put me on berberine and NAC w molybdenum. We did not retest.

2024 I had an upper endoscopy that showed some inflammation but tissue samples showed no H. pylori.

2025 I was doing better, I was out of the country, ended up getting a throat infection that needed antibiotics and cleared up quickly, but after I returned to the states my GI symptoms got much worse, and rather quickly, blood work showed multiple deficiencies, that I've worked on correcting, but once supplementation stops, my values drop rapidly.

Yesterday I had a urea breath test, results just came back negative, I'm really at a loss and my doctor doesn't know either. She will refer me to Gastro but she said it could take months but it feels like I'm participating in my own demise just by being alive.

I guess I'm not looking for answers but I'm really upset that it my results are negative (imagine that) because I was hoping it would be the clear reason with an established plan of care so I could move on from this :(

Olá gente, in a couple months I will be headed to rj on a 6 month to a year student visa. I visited Brasil last year for about 5 months and used Apple Pay almost exclusively. It got very tedious to keep transferring, didn’t always load when it came time to pay, and a in few instances I would tap then the vendor would choose the option to pay in dollar over real for me— charging me more than intended.

Is there any other option, I as a foreigner have for payment? I keep seeing conflicting info about wise and PIX.

Any advise is appreciated, valeu!
