I am finding it super odd how far a gap my Scirocco is between trade in value and private sale. In my case it’s £3234 difference - what? 🤯
Is that normal for Scirocco or what has happened to the market.
So I’m a newbie stacker - always been buying direct from Royal Mint or Bullion by post. All fine there. Starting to steer from buying there purely cause the premiums hurt. So have tried my hand purchasing private (danger, danger)
How can I go about telling when things are legit or not? Yes have googled but also it says things like good fakes can pass all sorts of tests, weight, sound etc etc
What can I do myself to check thoroughly or is that just a case of you can’t and you need to buy expensive equipment?

I even downloaded and paid for the “Coin Tester” app which was fine for my maples and britannias but doesn’t have anything for 2oz coins or quite a lot of coins actually so really waste of money (you probably already knew that)
And if these are fakes I’m really screwed as I’ve bought (waiting for delivery) another 3 coins from same seller 😬😬😬😬
Fairly new to silver stacking here - been stacking coins only but I am intrigued by these bars they look so good. But how do you value them to understand if you’re over paying / underpaying or is it just a case of if you like it enough just go for it. It’s super easy with a Britannia or a Maple leaf for example but this I have yet to see anywhere.

Hello there - I’m looking to buy a Scirocco but same time also need help with “how safe is Facebook MarketPlace for cars’’ Anyone have any experiencing buying through there?
Dead set on a Scirocco - looking for the later generation ones, low ish miles if possible, petrol rather than diesel, how are the DSG autos (never had an auto) worth it? Is the upkeep pretty standard stuff?
Found an interesting one I’ve never seen before called a GTS ???? Is that a real model?
