I was out at a very nice tiki bar having drinks with my fiancé yesterday evening when a family sat down in a booth a few yards away from us. Not only did they have 2 babies at a nice tiki bar but they proceeded to change one of the babies on the vinyl booth even though this bar has multiple changing tables in their bathrooms.

god, I didn't realize how common this is. why are parents so fucking entitled sometimes?! I felt really bad for the waitstaff who had to deal with that. not to mention how gross that is.

I noticed recently that Paramount is missing at least four episodes (Super Specs, Dark Dragon, Midnight Ride, Closet Keepers). idk why this is and it's annoying as Midnight Ride is one of my favorites and the first two are Sardo episodes. I'm considering buying the whole series just because it's so annoying that the seasons are out of order on Paramount and incomplete.

was thinking of going today or tomorrow but idk how chaotic it gets Festival week on the beach itself.

google said the hours might differ since tomorrow is when the 4th is observed for some businesses.

hoping to pick up my photography hobby this summer and want to photograph some cool neon signs at night (à la Bitter End, Intersection, etc). anyone have any cool vintage or neon signs they know of around town? any eerie liminal places outdoors?

Currently sitting at one of my favorite bars with one of my (also CF) friends as we wait for our food to come, before a concert in an hour. I just popped some edibles and played 3 games of pinball at the machines in the bar. after the concert I'll come home to my cat, my quiet apartment, and no one to tuck in/put to bed/come home early for.

They said we'd change our minds when we got older, but the older I get I just feel so blissed out and utterly free because I knew myself well enough to not cave into societal pressure to have kids. I can be doing nothing or even something banal and it's still better than an "exciting" day as a parent.
