Postdoc salary in Germany

Hi everyone,

Recently I received a postdoc offer in Germany.
During the interview I asked about salary, and the PI specifically mentioned that the salary is from TV-L table or aomething similar. And he specified that it was Entgeltgruppe 13.

I still didn’t receive the offer with salary. But is there any chance it is not that? A brief explanation about how this table works would be great, if possible. (For now, I’m not concerned about the Stufe).

Thank you!

Fapesp Jovem Pesquisador

RE4 Gold edition - if I sell, the other person can use the code for the DLC?

Hey everyone,

RE4 remake is amazing. I bought the gold edition and it had the Separate Ways DLC, which for me was a GREAT content as well.
I’ll sell my PS5 copy to buy more games. But I have this question.
Obviously, I used the code that came with the disc to play the Separate Ways DLC.
If I sell it, the next person can use it again? Or now it is unusable?

Selection for assistant professor in France - how does it work?

Hello everyone,

I'm a postdoc and currently looking for positions as assistant professor, and I came across one in France.

I heard that applicants in France are expected to have meetings with directors to do some sort of 'lobbying', but am unsure wether this is true.

Anyone here knows how true this is? And how could I do this 'lobbying' from a different country?
