Joined civil in a tier three college bcos of pressure

So I joined tier three college in Hyderabad. The name is Malla Reddy College of engineering and technology (MRCET) and the civil program is really ignored in the college, and I don’t think that I will get any job opportunities or anything like that in this College, anyone have their experience coming from your tier three College and getting their job. Please explain me that how can I get internship et cetera without the College help because CSC is considered mostly and civil is ignored.

Plz help me im stacked at really bad situation

I’m an average student and I haven’t always been that consistent. But this time I honestly wanna get serious. I’m hoping to join Anurag University for civil engineering because the environment feels stronger for me. It’s about 1.5 lakhs per year, so around3 lakhs for two years. And that’s why my dad’s not okay with it. He wants a college like VBIT where it’s more affordable like 1.2l , and I understand his concern. But I feel that Anurag could really help me turn things around. I’m stuck trying to figure out what to do.

In Anurag university they are telling me to pay 2 years fee upfront and its not like money is the problem like that much amount is payable for my family but my dad is not agreeing to pay that much and im arrogant abt going there , and at most the civil program is also different vbit syllabus vary hard campared to anurag uni and freedom in au the freedom yoy get is not there at vbit and faculty have 40marks in there hand so if you fuck up your attitude are attendance your gone

I don’t know what im doing and need advice seriously

Me and my dad have been arguing about which college I should join. He wants me to choose a cheaper Tier 3 college because the fees are lower and we can pay them in installments. The college I want is a university, but they require me to pay around 2 years of fees upfront, with the rest in installments.
The bigger problem is that I keep changing my mind. In the past month, I’ve gone to around 6 different colleges. At first, I’ll see a college and think, “This actually looks good, I could see myself here.” Then I hear something negative about it, start overthinking, get scared that I’m making the wrong choice, and drop it. Then I find another college and do the same thing again.
I know ADHD probably makes this harder because my mind keeps jumping between different things, but I also don’t want to use that as an excuse. At some point, I have to take responsibility for how I’m handling this.
What makes me feel worse is that my parents are the ones dealing with the consequences. They’re working hard and trying to figure out what’s best for me, while I keep changing my mind and making things more complicated. Sometimes I honestly don’t even understand what I want myself, let alone what they expect from me.
I’m starting to feel like I’ve just been really careless and irresponsible about the whole thing. I’m not trying to make myself look like a victim. I genuinely want to understand why I keep doing this and how other people would handle it in my situation.

Im stupid

Honestly, I think I’m the problem here, not the colleges.
I spent months jumping between colleges, overthinking, asking everyone for opinions, and trying to find the “perfect” college. I cared more about college life, campus, people, environment, and Civil-related exposure than academics.
Then I joined Vaagdevi without properly researching it or being sure I actually wanted to spend four years there. I paid the money, submitted my certificates, joined, and only afterward started seriously questioning my decision.
Now I’m stuck comparing colleges again and wondering if I should leave.
The harsh truth is that I keep making decisions without thinking them through properly, then regretting them afterward. I procrastinate, panic, rely too much on other people’s opinions, and keep looking for another option instead of taking responsibility for the one I chose.
So I’m not really asking, “Which college should I choose?”
I’m asking: What the hell is wrong with the way I make decisions, and how do I fix it?
Be harsh. I’d rather hear the uncomfortable truth than repeat the same stupidity again.

Im the bad apple in my family

I’m posting this because after my last post, a few people pointed out that what I’m doing looks less like “bad luck with college choices” and more like pure negligence on my part. And honestly, I think they’re right.
I’m trying to figure out where I actually went wrong, because at this point I know the problem isn’t just the colleges. A lot of it is the way I’ve been making decisions.
When I started looking for colleges, I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted. I’m choosing Civil Engineering, but I’ll be honest, academics were never the biggest factor for me. I’m not someone who is obsessively focused on academics or looking for the most academically prestigious college possible.
What mattered much more to me was having a good college life, a decent campus environment, being around people, getting proper exposure to Civil-related tools and software, having opportunities outside just sitting in classrooms, and actually enjoying the four years I’m going to spend there.
I wanted a college where I could feel like I was actually in college, not just somewhere I show up for classes and go home.
The problem is that even though I knew what I wanted, I didn’t really have a proper process for finding it.
I kept looking at different colleges, comparing them, changing my mind, asking people for opinions, finding another option, then questioning the previous one. I was constantly thinking about whether I was making the wrong choice, but somehow I wasn’t doing the most basic thing properly: researching the colleges thoroughly before making a commitment.
Eventually, I ended up taking admission in Vaagdevi for Civil.
And this is where I really fucked up.
I paid money, submitted my original certificates and basically committed to the college before I had properly convinced myself that I actually wanted to spend four years there.
I had researched some things, but clearly not enough.
I was more focused on securing a seat and making sure I had somewhere to go than actually asking myself whether the college matched what I wanted from my college experience.
After getting in, I started noticing things I didn’t like.
Some of the things I expected from the Civil department weren’t there in the way I imagined. More importantly, I started questioning whether I actually liked the overall college environment and whether I could see myself being happy there for four years.
And then I started looking at other colleges again.
So now I’m stuck in this cycle of comparing colleges, regretting decisions, checking other options, worrying about whether I should leave, wondering if another college would actually be better, and constantly second-guessing myself.
The frustrating part is that a lot of this could have been avoided before I paid and joined.
I could have properly visited the campus.
I could have spoken to current Civil students.
I could have asked exactly what the department actually provides instead of relying on assumptions.
I could have figured out what kind of college environment I wanted and compared colleges based on that.
I could have taken a little more time before handing over money and my original certificates.
Instead, I made the decision and then started doing the serious thinking afterward.
That’s why I’m starting to realize that the bigger problem isn’t necessarily that I picked the wrong college.
It’s that I don’t seem to know how to make an important decision properly.
I procrastinate.
I overthink.
I get scared that I’m running out of time.
I ask too many people what I should do.
I make a decision because I feel pressured to make one.
Then I start doubting it.
Then I look for another option.
Then I regret the first decision.
And eventually I’m back at the beginning, except now I’ve wasted time, money, energy, and sometimes opportunities.
That’s a pretty stupid cycle, and I’m aware that changing colleges won’t magically fix it.
I also realize I’ve been relying way too much on other people’s opinions. I keep asking people which college is better, what I should choose, whether I should stay or leave, etc.
But ultimately, I’m the one who has to live with the decision for four years.
Reddit isn’t going to attend college for me. My friends aren’t going to attend college for me. And random people giving me advice online definitely aren’t going to deal with the consequences if I make another bad decision.
So this time, I’m not really looking for people to simply tell me which college to choose.
I want people to tell me what is wrong with the way I’m approaching these decisions and how I can actually improve myself.
Because even if someone gives me the perfect college recommendation right now, it doesn’t solve the bigger problem.
If I keep making decisions like this, I’ll probably find something wrong with the next college too.
So, being completely honest about myself:
I’ve been negligent.
I’ve procrastinated until decisions became urgent.
I’ve made decisions without doing enough research beforehand.
I’ve let fear and pressure make me rush.
I’ve depended too much on other people’s opinions.
I’ve changed my mind repeatedly instead of committing to a decision after properly evaluating it.
And when something doesn’t feel right afterward, my first instinct seems to be finding another option instead of asking whether I’m the actual problem here.
I don’t want people to sugarcoat it for me.
If this sounds immature, impulsive, irresponsible, indecisive, or just plain stupid, tell me.
I’m trying to understand how someone actually becomes better at making decisions, taking responsibility, doing proper research, and then sticking with a decision instead of constantly second-guessing themselves.
I don’t just want help choosing a college.
I want to fix the person making the decisions.

I might die before selecting a clg 🥲😭😭plz help me

I wanted to join MVSR because the fees fit my budget. But now the consultancy is asking for ₹2l as donation plus ₹1.4 lakh in tuition fees. I honestly feel like I’m being scammed.
I also called Anurag University, where the tuition fee is ₹1.5 lakh, which I was okay with. But when I asked if I could pay the first installment, they said I have to either pay two years’ fees upfront or the entire first year’s fee at once. I can’t afford that.
Now my parents want me to join Shree Datta College, but I really don’t want to this clg is ass . If I can’t find a better option, I’ll probably have no choice.
If anyone knows a reliable consultancy or has suggestions for colleges with reasonable fees and installment options, I’d really appreciate your help.
Also, NotEdu9 has been a terrible experience for me. Based on what happened, I wouldn’t recommend them. Im tried of calling ever clgs and asking them abt management seat availability and they keep saying some shit plz if anyone can help me plz

To explain things, I joined a college in Warangal Vagdevi College , but I got pretty disappointed when I visited the college campus and the overall Warangal is not at all that developed. I thought it would be, and I was disappointed, and I cancelled the admission and now I am thinking of joining another college, i called some colleges in Andhra Pradesh. They are all saying that there is waiting list and management seats are all over, and I am just wondering if there is any management seats available or not? Like is it too late to join or what is it if you know any good colleges with management seats of 1.5 lakhs per year, please please tell me. I want to join as soon as possible ,mostly civil engineering clgs
