Is it a dumb idea to build AI agents for money recovery?

I’ve seen a lot of businesses still manage collections pretty manually — checking what’s overdue, sending reminders, following up over WhatsApp/email/calls, tracking payment promises, and chasing again if someone doesn’t pay.

I’m thinking of building an AI agent that handles most of this automatically, keeps track of commitments and payment status, and flags customers likely to become bad debt.

Is this painful enough to pay for, or is it already a solved problem?

How do you deal with customers who consistently pay late?

I run a cleaning company doing apartment and Airbnb cleanings. One of my biggest time sinks is chasing customers for overdue payments.
How do other small businesses handle this? Any systems or tactics that actually reduce late payments without annoying good customers or damaging the relationship?

Curious if this is a common problem in the UAE and what’s worked for you.

Is it a dumb idea to build a tool that tells founders which UAE free zone or mainland they should set up their business in?

I’ve been researching for past few days about free zones and mainland in UAE and I’m still not sure which one to go for. Apparently there are 40+ of these in total across the Emirates.

Is it just me or the decision is actually complex? On top of that the cost differences by years of license and number of visas. Hundreds of agencies trying to sell their licenses.

Would it be a bad idea to build a platform that streamlines the decision making process and lists all free zones with the correct cost estimate?

Should I build or buy CRM/ client portal for my renovation business?

I run a small home renovation company in UAE; the lead management and WhatsApp messages are becoming a bit cumbersome.

I could not find a relevant and affordable tool to manage leads, and track projects

Is it a dumb idea to vibe code using lovable, Claude etc?

Is it a dumb idea to build a Lovable alternative for small businesses?

Lovable is great for pretty landing pages and apps. But I have not come across app builders specifically for useful working software like CRM, booking forms, client portals, excel work automation, etc. that are relevant to firm operations

Most people are too busy to master Claude code/ codex, but they seem to have an itch for DIY and hiring a developer is still expensive

What do you think? Would I be wasting my time in building an app builder like this?

Service businesses: what are some pain points in your business for which you will pay to solve?

I run a tech agency wanting to build something for the services sector. I'm looking for problems to solve that are relevant for UAE businesses.

Please share your your daily operational issues if you run a services business eg, contractor, repairs, renovation, cleaning, HVAC, handyman, etc.
